For the price it's not worth it....my wife brought me a apple turnover .. it was hollow inside with only 4 slivers of apples pieces and dry inside ..never again you have lost a customer .the quality has gone so low .it's not good ..On the weekends I visit my mother in Gonzales ,Soledad those bakeries are the best .Ps. Have them train the rest ..smh

Always try to get here early morning, driving from Sacramento. Bread sells fast, sells breakfast and lunch. Its just the best, highly recommend. Andddd the staff us supper sweet, friendly, and helpful.

Called to place an order for a few burritos to try and stay away from waiting. Arrived 15-20 mins after I called only to still wait. Waited an hour for 3 burritos. Terrible wait and service.

Cannot believe I never tried this gem before. Came over to get the oil changed across the way. Decided to check out the shopping center and glad I did. This eatery is very clean, welcoming and friendly. Left side is all pastry, cookies, breads and pan to die for. Right side is table seating. All back side is kitchen. The menu is extensive. Get plates or a la cart. So many options. Being a first timer, I asked a few people who were waiting if they had ordered. Yes. A kind man took me over to where I could order food. Gracias! The chicken nachos contained a base of stone ground tortilla chips, freshly grilled chicken, pinto beans, cheese, pico de gallo, crema, pickled jalapeno and freshly sliced avocado for $10.98. It was incredibly delicious. Stopped by the bakery counter and took home some cookies. My husband and I both loved them. Honestly, I need to find a reason to come over here more often. Its that good.

Horrible service they didn't make my cake I had to wait 30 minutes so they could make it. They also put cheese on my torta when I didn't want it with Cheese.

The bread is good that's it. Their food... sloppy and lacks flavor. They make their tortas with half a tub of crema and an entire block of cheese! It's like you ordered a crema and queso torta. Pretty gross

I was on the fence about 3 vs 4 starts. At its core La Plaza is great for pan dulce. The pan dulce is great. It always tastes great and is good. I have no complaints there. If you are looking for a place with a good selection of good pan dulce, definitely check out La Plaza. The part that lacks is their attention to detail, yea we were greeted when we arrived but the staff but the staff all just seemed so stressed. The woman who was getting packing the bread was busy running back and forth. No smiles, just getting her job done. At one point she even had to answer the phone. I later overheard her asking the other ladies for help but they could not be bothered. Also on this visit, I ordered two orders of the menudo. The menudo is not great. Its mediocre at best. The flavor just wasnt there. Yea, I liked the fresh made tortillas they were a great side but this menudo was flavorless at best. Honestly, the canned one has better flavor. Also, a single serving was around $10.99 which seems about on par but not worth it for flavorless menudo.
