I love churros... the whole soft and chewy part. Thats definitely not here. You stand around for 5-10 minute for the employee to address you, order and then wait 10 minutes. I got the apple pie one and my mom got the smores. She bit into it and said "ehh this is so hard". I chomped mine and said wow this is not a good churro. It was hard, like double fried hard. I dont know if the employee was distracted or what the deal was but chose are supposed to be nice and soft and chewy and this was straight up hard there was no softness or chewy to it. So I just ate the apple pie filling that was maybe about 1-2 TBLS and the whip cream and threw the rest away. when I looked at the receipt I said what the hell are all these taxes that's just crazy. But they do end up being regular California tax. Not worth $10 a pop.

The churros are absolutely wonderful, made fresh and with love. Lovely service and now my go to spot for churros. This place is underrated and deserves some more love.

BAD SERVICE !! I walked up the keosk to place an order and the worker made eye contact with me but turned away and continued to walk back and forth between the counter and the back room. 10 minutes later he finally came out from the back and asked for my order. The guy walks away as I'm still paying and waiting for my receipt so his coworker comes out from the back to hand me the receipt. His coworker tells me my order will be ready in about 6-7 minutes so I sat down at the tables right in front of the Mmm Churros kiosk. The first worker proceeds to make my churro as the coworker stands there calling someone on his cellphone. Then when the order is ready he calls my order number and as I'm getting up to grab it, a lady comes by and he gives the order to her without double checking the order number. Then he calls the order after mine and that's when the coworker realized he gave away the wrong order and had to correct him. They both went to remake my order which ended up taking an extra 15 minutes.

I live in Pacific Grove and Yelp keeps popping up asking me for a review. I very seldom drive to Salinas. If you really must know, I love churros. I love the menu. I'll stop in if I ever go to NorthRidge Mall

As a churro purist, I've always loved the cinnamon sugar. But today I tried the Maple Bacon cinnamon sugar bites and it was so delicious! Every bite satisfied a different craving -- salty, sweet, crunchy, saucy, savory! The maple glaze is rich and buttery while the bacon pieces are crisp and salty. The cinnamon sugar on the churro just heightens the taste and distinction of all the flavors married together in one small delicious bite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was very surprised how good these churros were. I got the banana pudding churro bites. Super fresh. Have to give them a minute to cool down. I will go back to try a regular churro and their other specialties.

Originally from Hollister, CA...they now have a flagship store! Same great churros + more. I went looking for them this weekend and actually had some trouble finding them. If you go in from the mall side, it's on the left in between the last Taquiera and Charley's. If you walk in from the outside food court entrance from the parking lot, it's on the right. Second to last business. I'll definitely be back :)
