It was a chocolate ganache and raspberry cake (~$35) and my family absolutely devoured it! Nothing was left. This place is also cash only so just something to keep in mind before going.

Amazing pastries and cakes. My top 3 go to items are the Chocolate Raspberry Cake, the Pear Tart, and the Bread Pudding. These 3 are seriously the best! But really everything is great. We are so lucky to have a place like this in Salinas!!!

We were driving home from Avila Beach and decided to pull off in Salinas for a bakery stop. At the top of the list was Peninsula Pastries and after our stop they will forever be at the top of our list for our next stop in Salinas. A great selection of wonderful pastries for a bakery that has been there for twenty years and here is to wishing them many more years of sharing their delicious baked goods with a very warm and friendly service!

Best and local favorite place for dreamy and deliciously addicting pastries. Thank you for existing Peninsula Pastries, always order at least 2 full days ahead of time for personal orders to be fulfilled. Everything is first come first serve and the place is always clean and organized.

The owner is super sweet and her blueberry tart is amazing all her tarts are delicious. She is always so patient and kind with customers no matter how busy she is. The place is small but clean it's a cute little shop. Get there early or she will run out!

I placed an order for 2 large fruit tarts, one for a birthday and the other to eat now. I knew we wouldn't be able to wait for the birthday . These fruit tarts are so good, in order to get one you have place an order ahead of time. They are so worth it. When you drive by the bakery they have a line of people waiting. These fruit tarts are pricey but so worth it. They are topped with an abundance of fresh fruit. I highly recommend this bakery, you won't be sorry.
