Great ambiance and first class service.Limited vegetarian & vegan options; they have a total of 3 vegan items (oatmeal, granola and a side salad). If you order the avocado toast and want a vegetable instead of cheese there’s an up charge; unbelievable!!!Overall this is a tremendously overpriced breakfast spot given the quality. It’s a nice & clean place but you can get the same food at IHOP for a lot less money.One avocado toast and two oatmeals cost us $49! You can find cheaper-and way better- breakfast in downtown San Francisco!Vegetarian options: Very limited plus if you’re vegan they charge to substitute cheese for veggies ?♂️?♂️?♂️

Very slow service, people really look miserable working there, must be the work environment? They waitress just couldn't careless about customer service maybe coz we were a group of latinas? I order a drink and didn't get a glass for it, they really treated us very poorly, they took them so long to got me a glass maybe ten minutes so I could have my drink, although the restaurant was almost empty. Food salty as the ocean. Place is very nice yes. But I will never go back there again, a pity, the building is very nice. They seems to serve brozen food.

I had a stroke and couldn't use this for a long time. Now they won't honor it. Talk about discrimination against the disabled! What the heck! Never going back there again.

Ordered a new pasta special named a sundried tomato chicken pasta. It was delicious. The local restaurant is not stingy with their plate servings, the dish was filled with fried chicken. I was to excited to eat to take a picture. Thank you chef Oscar.

I walked into the restaurant during business hours on a Saturday. I was welcomed by a brunette woman behind the counter rocking a slicked back hair do who asked "are you here for the private party?" to which I responded "no." She then proceeded to state "we're closed" and I asked if both sides of the restaurant were closed and she snarled in an aggressive tone "WE'RE CLOSED." Portobello's needs to do better with their hiring process and also remove open signs from the windows when the are not open. This restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth without even trying the food.
Thought the food was delicious. The waitress was very good and so nice. The quiche was heated too much. It got hard as it cooled. A freshly cooked one would be awesome I bet!!! Would definitely go back.

Had my wedding here (ceremony and reception) and it was amazing! My wedding party consisted of about 65 people. The staff: Meynard, Gabriel, Monique, Jarine and Liz made sure my husband and I and my guests were attended to and made our evening seamless. Meynard and Gabriel made us feel so welcomed even with my 100 pre-planning questions.. always pleasant and helpful! The food was excellent. The drinks outstanding and the service was top notch. We had so much fun and I can't thank Portobellos enough for the beautiful ambiance, great food and drinks and making my wedding stress-free!If you are looking for a great venue with outstanding service .. don't hesitate to choose Portobello's!
