This was the.worst food experience Ive ever had. A waste of 40.00 too. The papusas were flat, doughy and greasy with hardly any filling visible. Gross. Neither of us could could stomach them. The salsa was red, watery and had zero flavor. Zero! We had ordered some fries too. They were lukewarm and all they did was squirt ketchup, mayo and mustard on them. We've never seen fries served this way, and hope to never again.Dont eat there.

Ordered two chicken pupusas with beans no onion. I got cheese and onion chicken was supposed to be shredded. I didn't even my beans .I would not go back

Pupusa was burnt, greasy and just cheese. The customer service wasn’t good. Overpriced. $4.50 for a pupusa. Prices are different online.

The food was not good the popusas were mostly dough they barley had any filling. Not only was the food bad but the service as well. I do not recommend even stopping by this place .

The pupusas are consistently good when I order from this location. Very reasonable prices as well.ans good customer service.Quick and easy online ordering. Which I love.Usually order the pupusas with chicharon and make sure to add everything on top.Have not been able to try other dishes here because I only ever come for the pupusas.

The pupusas here are slightly above average as they come out hot and crispy, but overall nothing special. The yuca frita con chicharrón is just some cubed fried yuca with extremely overcooked chicharrón sprinkled over top. The slaw here is refreshing. The reason for the low review is the mislabeled pricing. Their menus are labelled with pupusas $3 but they will charge you more, watch your receipts. When you bring it up to the cashier, she will claim she cannot delete or edit the charges, claiming that it will be taken out of her paycheck. As a person who has worked retail before, I know that this is not true, don’t fall for it. Then, the owner will claim you’re rich, you should be able to pay even though she owns an entire restaurant and I am straight out of college. If this does not sour your mood, the food is decent and if you can’t think of another place to go to and don’t mind being tricked go here.

More like pooppuseria! Very small portions of everything, flat taste, soggy salad if you can call that a salad and so expensive. I'm never coming back!

No words to describe how nasty this food is. Bad customer service. Restroom is always dirty once I go. Never going back.

The pupusas are good, however the service is not good! They prioritize "to go" orders versus the people that are there sitting down waiting for their plate to be served. I recommend you order to go, because if you go in to eat there it will take you about 40 minutes to get your plate of one pupusa.

Delicious meal thank you.

Marleny's is a Salvadoran Restaurant based in the San Luis Center shopping center. This restaurant seems to be a hybrid storefront/restaurant. Cozy inside with a nice decor. Very nice wait staff. I had to go up to the counter to place my order & currently their card machine is down, so bring cash. So the reason I am giving this 3 stars is because of the price of my meal. I ordered: - 2 chicken tamales (4.25 each!) - 1 side of fries ($6!) - 1 can soda ($2) Total price: $18.37 (I left the rest of my $20 for tip) Taste: the masa inside of the tamales was pretty soggy but the chicken had good flavor. Fries were crispy. Maybe I should have gotten the papusas instead of the tamales...

Food was soggy and flat. Poor portions of meat, cheese and shrimp in the pupusas. Really disappointed.

My 2 star rating is ultimately because the flavor of the pupusas is not very good :-/. I think it's the flavor of the masa (dough) which I didn't like. We tried 4 different types of pupusas (chicken, beef, beans, jalapeno cheese). If I had to choose which was better, it would have to be beef, but again, it's pretty hard to get passed the flavor of the masa (dough) which I did not enjoy. The sad part is I really, really LOVE the flavor of corn masa. But I think these are mixed with wheat flour. I really wanted to like this place as the only pupuseria place I know in the area, but I guess I am way better off making these at home.

If I can put 0 stars I would ! Don't waste your money eating here the food doesn't have much authentic Salvadorean taste suggest you go down to Marina and eat at the Pupuseria in Marina instead ! Order some Salvadorean breakfast and got the eggs scrambled I had to use a lot for napkins to soak out all the oil they used ! Also got some rice flour pupusas no taste at all and don't even speak about the tasteless salsa taste more like water than tomato sauce ! Don't come here and waste your time this place!
