This used to be my favorite place to pick up food. Though I was greatly disappointed in my last visit. They weren't busy, and their was just one person behind me. I ordered the Terri chicken with half rice and half noodles with veggies (and asked for 3 extra sides of chicken and also an order of tempura shrimp) after driving all the way back home, and open the plate to find barely a normal order of chicken and they never even gave me the tempura shrimp I paid for too. And to try and call to advise them forget it, they never answer! So here I was disappointed and also now felt ripped off for paying for items i never received..

So everyday I go to the gym I get the normal plate with white rice and chicken it has always been nice, but today I go and they have "Scales" to start weighing the food I guess. I got my food and yup as I figured starting to skimp the portions It was so funny to see the scales out in public. Nothing against the cooks it's always good but Its funny the prices go up but the portions go down. Gonna learn how to make it my self it was nice knowing ya. I'm sure who I saw was the owner with his phone doing calculations lol sad

Kinda a regular now. The noodles and chicken teriyaki is great. Has a good flavor too it and not dry at all. Also have tried it with the white rice and also very good. If you do take out they even give you some nice take out containers with extra sauce.

The worst costumer service, if they were making the food in the back theyd probaby be spitting on the food. Plus the people serving the food are duche bags.

This place in the bay area is like fine dining, there's always a line. I should have known better when there was no one in line during dinner rush hour when I visited this location. This Sarku restaurants is like an in-law that you want no part of. The menu is very different from other locations, it has less choices and the food quality is questionable at best. I don't want to beat on a dead horse but everything from all the reviewers are true, this place should be shutdown.
Probably one of my favorite mall chain foods to get, food is good and prepared fresh, but I noticed that the quantity is getting smaller and smaller.
