Damn. Best Asian food in Monterey County. Try the Poke Bowl: it’s a taste bomb. Tempura Roll is great too.

I love it here, and so does my family. We try to visit more often than not. Food is good. The service is top tier. We usually take it to go but you can eat there. I recommend trying it, you'll thank yourself(unless you don't like it, then that would probably be a you problem)

Weirdly pan-Asian menu for a place called "Sushi" Hut: Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hawaiian, as well as Japanese. Was really skeptical but drove all the way out because of the red bean buns which they sadly don't have anymore.Lots of odd, non-authentic offerings like ha gau soup and deep fried ha gau.Frying the skins ruined the ha gao imho, but the insides were good, with whole shrimp in the filling, not a fish ball with shrimp pieces, though the insides were bland and underseasoned.Part of the appeal of ha gao is the sticky, chewy skin, so deep-frying them ruined them texturally. I think if they were pan-fried so you had both crunchy and chewy textures it would have been tastier and more successful. Also I missed not having red vinegar for them. The gyoza/mandoo sauce they give you does not go with seafood imho. They also have a market with snack-y items, making it resemble a Lee's Sandwiches more than a takeout joint. They were stocked with 8 out of 10 Sailor Moon Ocean Bomb flavors (Pluto and Saturn are hard to find still) and a decent cross-section of Dragon Ball Z Ocean Bombs. It was still hopping half an hour before closing and parking was tight.Would try again if ever in the area again.

I purchase the poke bowl here. am going to continue to go here because they're far the best in Salinas, quality and generous portions. The only thing for today, they forgot my seaweed . Next time.

This family business is somewhat tucked away in the El Super market shopping center off E Boronda Rd.Poke Bowl ($13) Start with your base: White Rice, Brown Rice, or Lettuce then pick yourProtein (choose 3) : Salmon, Tuna, Spicy Tuna, Octopus, Shrimp, or Eel Sauce:Add ins Includes: Avocado, Cucumber, Carrot, Daikon, Crab Salad, Mango, Fresh Seaweed Salad, Wasabi, Ginger, and LemonFinally finish it off with sauces of your choice Chili Sesame, Ponzo, Spicy Mayo, Sushi Sauce, Citrus, Ginger Vinaigrette, or Sriracha While the fish isn't "sushi grade quality" it's presentation and very fair portion is on par for what you pay.Service is fast and friendly and they checked in on me 3x to see if I was good. The place is kept constantly clean, has about 4 tables mixed within the little market shelves of Asian snacks and beverages you normally would see in San Jose Asian stores. They also have a few pre-made "to-go" choices for the convenience of dash n' dine.Definitely worth a return visit to try other menu options.Food 4 1/2 out of 5Service 5 out of 5Value 4 out of 5Atmosphere 4 out of 5Bathroom*didn't check it outVerdict 4 1/2 out of 5

Got a poke bowl along with some fried goodies. Not sure why I haven't tried fried dumplings before but they're pretty good! Also got a thai tea w boba, asked for half sweet and it was perfect. Great place to stop by for a quick bite. Other than menu items they have an assortment of Asian snacks, chips, candy, and soda that you cant find at your usual grocery or convenient store. The cashier suggested a milky lychee type candy and it was soooo good. Will definitely be coming back.

Blown away I've never been here until today, definitely my families favorite sushi spot now. Each roll was great and the service was fast and staff was extremely friendly. The entire place was cleaned immaculately and the mini mart of candy, food and drinks inside was an extra nice bonus. Will be a returning again in the near future and glad to have such a great sushi spot in town.

My daughter and I were craving sushi and it was mid-day when most sushi restaurants aren't open. We Yelped this and decided to head across town to try it out. There's a small store section with great Asian snacks and drinks, as well as pre-made sushi rolls to go if you're in a hurry. We decided to order both a sushi roll and a poké bowl, as well as some boba drinks. Michael was very helpful in letting us know some of what they offer and checking with us to see how everything was. The sushi and poké bowl were both flavorful and very fresh. The boba drinks were tasty and refreshing. We enjoyed the meal, the people were friendly and welcoming, and the store itself was pleasant with some unique art on the walls which we enjoyed looking at.We recommend giving Sushi Hut a visit!
