Togo's Sandwich shop Salinas Not Surprised they are Permanently Closed Down !!! Every time I ordered there, My sandwich was Never Right. I picked up there a lot for doordash, grubhub and ubereats. I Can Only Imagine how many of the orders I picked up were Wrong. They Only Lasted 2 1/2 years. Bad Management .

The employees were nice and respectful. The restaurant was clean. The California club sandwich was tasty with plenty of meat, but I felt the wheat bread was a little sweet for my pallete. Will return, but I might try something different next time.

Cold sandwich and terrible customer service from an empty restaurant.Went in on Saturday afternoon. No other customers. We looked at the menu for a while as it was our first time. We decided on our order so went up to the order counter. The employee who had been talking on the phone the entire time did not make any acknowledgement of our presence. After a while, we looked around and found the self ordering machines. We placed our order there. The employee who finished his call apologized and told us to wait. He did not even look at our order. We went to our table but then went back to the counter to ask for our drink first while we wait.When our order was ready, he apologized again and offered a free bag of chips. We asked if the sandwich is cut in half and he assured that it was cut. But we found out that it was only cut a halfway and we had to ask for a knife and napkins (not included).Worst of all, the hot sandwich which supposed to have melted cheese was cold.

I've been here for both catering orders and lunch and the gentlemen here are always polite, friendly, and orders are timely! Restaurant is clean and food is fresh!

I've been here twice and there is literally always a problem here. First time i ordered online and they left my brownie out and didn't notice until i got home. Second time i asked for a sandwich with only roast beef and cheese. When asked about the veggies i said no, only roast beef and cheese. I get home and there mayo or ranch or something on it, had to go back to the store. The staff is nice but if avoid this place at all costs. Try little sicily around the corner, I've been there probably about 10 times and never had a problem, and you can get a pizza for around the same price as a sandwich at togos

Good sandwiches made like your want them as your watch. The breads are rolls, so expect them to be on the form side. Friendly and helpful employees. In today's economy, prices aren't bad. Keep in mind that they have 3 sizes - something easily missed - Mini, Regular, and Large. The Mini isn't that small, so it can be enough to fill many appetites.

A few days ago I put in an online order with several sandwiches and stated I'd be there in 30 minutes to pick it up. When I arrived on time they had just started my order. The one person already working on my order was maskless and as I walked in he put his mask on and without changing his gloves went back to making my food. So he basically touched his mask and then rubbed all those germs onto my food. As if that weren't gross enough when I told them I was here to pick up my order I saw another worker put her phone down and without washing her hands started making the rest of my sandwich. At least she put gloves on, But again she fiddled with her mask after putting her gloves on, which negates the purpose of even wearing gloves. While I was waiting for what seemed like forever the staff were super unfriendly almost as if it bothered them I was even in there store. Then to top it all off I had asked that they don't put tomatoes in my sandwich and they did anyways. I wonder if they would have been more careful if I had told them I was allergic to tomatoes, but probably not because they seemed like they were troubled by me simply asking them to do their job. Maybe it was for the best I couldn't eat my food because this was the most unsanitary and unfriendly place I've been since covid began. Then it would have been one thing had only my sandwich been uneatable but all my friends quickly began complaining that there sandwiches were sloppy and falling apart. We're not coming back, the area is surrounded with countless other places to eat that employs people who are considerate enough to make food as the customer actually desires it.
Worst Togo's ever. I placed an order 15 minutes in advance, and when I got there, it was not ready. The employee stated it would be ready "soon" then proceeded to make 2 orders before mine. The chicken was cold, and she added an excessive amount of salt and pepper when I didn't ask for any. I was on my lunch break, so I did not have enough time to ask for a refund. Extremely poor, slow service. I understand they are busy, but waiting 30 minutes for an unappetizing sandwich is unacceptable. I did not appreciate the service at all. I would rather drive 25 minutes to 1 hour away for better service and quality.

Had a great experience, I had a question about my sandwich and the young man Daniel explained everything to me, he should definitely be the manager at this site. Looked like everyone looked to him for direction. I will continue to come here as long as he's running the show.

This was pretty much a bad experience, start to finish. First I ordered online, the order did not go through but my card was charged twice. I called the store and was told they couldn't do anything about it. I can understand that but they were not helpful at all. Next, we called in our order and were told 20 minutes. I got there at about 30 minutes and the sandwiches had not been started and the store had one guest, again staff couldn't even fake caring. Finally got the sandwiches back to work and mine was basically a lettuce sandwich, a few thin slices of turkey and a little avocado and completely dry ( no condiments which were ordered) I'm bummed because I love Togo's but i doubt I will be going back to this store.

Needs work! Customer service and quality control not living up to the Togo's name. Hot meats not being weighed per policy and procedure. Customer service needs work. Could be great with tighter control and better hands-on management.
