I had a kickback at the Social Club. There is an indoor bar, outside grilling. Purchase salmon, shrimp, hamburgers, hotdogs, oysters, charcoal, lighters from the bar to grill outside. Hawaiian Food truck had been on location. You can bring your dog and children. There is space to rent for private parties. It's an over all good time for friends and family. There are also rooms to rent. Real vintage feel.

Suite 6 is not a great choice. What I liked Granola and almond milk included. Nice way to start the day. Coffee was good. I like French press. Plenty of snacks Comfy bed. The grounds were cool The lounge was cool. Bartender was really nice Great Merch WHAT WAS NOT GREAT: The overall design was amateurish. The art was out of proportion to the space. Weird mirror above couch should have been in the bathroom. "Crown molding " is just a quarter round trim piece. Looks very funky. Heat not working. It was 50 inside our room. Space heaters worked but were very dirty..see photos. I guess we could have lit the furnace that was off. but the area rug was under/in the unit. Fire hazard The description Kitchenette is a HUGE stretch. Just a mini fridge that doubled as a mini bar for the hotel. No place to prep food. There were notes about food items included at no charge, except for the items on the cart in the bedroom...were they included? The items on the cart were snacks and liquor. Items like these were on a menu in the fridge for a charge but the items in the bedroom were not Noted anywhere. The bathroom was sub par . See photos. No place to put toiletries. A shelf would solve this. Tiny mirror to apply makeup. The big mirror is in the living room above the couch. Weird shower drain you need to straddle. Super Slow draining sink. No heat. Towels were not soft. Oh and when I went to slide the barn door style door open it came off the tracks and landed on my husband The photos on the site are misleading. There we were looking out our window at a giant gravel parking lot. Not cute fire pits or nature. The comforter cover had holes in it. It is misleading to say you are a boutique hotel but charge a separate cleaning fee. Hotels build the cleaning into their price. Super tacky and if you charge the fee the place should be ship shape. It wasn't.

Kind of run down. But plenty of room to host a large event or work party. If you simply need the space at a decent price. Worth a look.

Catfished! Not a "Crown Jewel". More like a bucket of horse excrement. Run, don't walk, the other way. Anything else would be better.

My husband and I stayed here for the night and were blown away with how great it was! The room was so spacious, and had my dream bathtub. We went to the lobby bar for drinks and had amazing service from the bartender Liz. We will definitely be coming back for more trips!

$7 16 oz beer with an inch of foam. It’s a rip off.

I didn't stay here. I was here to hang with friends and drink and eat. It's a good place for that. At first when I pulled up I thought this was where horror movies take place, but once you walk around to the main entrance it warms up.We got a grill kit which was basic. Seemed like Costco frozen patties and other store bought ingredients, but it's really the atmosphere you go for. I had a blast.

I used to love the customer service from this place. I came back and the employee were rude. I wasn't aware there is no outside food allowed, and the hostess took the food out of the place. That was very disrespectful, the food option is very limited and then yet people from the next pit were grilling burgers and hot dogs. Why is it that people can bring burgers and hot dogs but no pizza?

I gave this establishment ample amount of time to respond to my email before I put a complaint on here, so be it. My wife and son had a couple night stay with them. We didn't finish it because of the poor attitude/ customer service, and overall look of this motel(at best). We got into our room and the lock doesn't work, the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything the next person in the next room did. Also, there was ZERO moving air. As we just came from the beach, we thought we'd go to dinner there but since it said, " no substitutes". My whole family and I are allergic to certain things, so either all they do is warm up stuff or they are just picky and won't help. All in all, horrible service from staff, no security, literal shack, and horrible communication as they never wrote me back.

I agree with another reviewer who used the word "catfished" to describe their experience at this hotel.I'm sure the bar and restaurant are lovely, but I was really disappointed with our experience at the hotel. We had been looking forward to this stop because of the beautiful rooms and the location. Our room (#9) WAS beautiful, but it wasn't clean or functional. The bedding was tattered and worn looking. The bedroom window was broken and wouldn't stay open unless we propped it up with a flimsy, ill-fitting window screen we found on the floor. Being on the coast, there was no AC, so it would be really nice to be able to open the window easily. There were only two available outlets that we could find. The shower door was improperly installed and felt like it might fall off, and there was nowhere to put shower toiletries except the floor. There was no bathroom counter, and the small wooden shelf next to the bathroom sink was broken and barely hanging onto the wall. There appeared to be mold next to the sink. We could hear a fair amount of noise from the bar and restaurant in the room. Also, when they say easy beach access, I think they mean on the bay side, not the Pacific side... That is, unless you're up for a hike in the wilderness!

We stayed in suite 6. The bathroom door was broken so we couldn’t slide it closed. The coffee was provided but only enough for 1 morning and the room is not refreshed or replenished. There isn’t any kitchen / facilities open until 4 and you’re miles from anything so that was annoying - bring supplies! Had to take a 15 min drive into town for a coffee. The room itself was sort of stylish but bare. The location isn’t as good as I imagined because it’s far to walk to the beach and you have to cross an active airfield, dunes and bushes. Very much a derelict & strange place. Wasn’t terrible but feel ripped off for over $500 for 2 nights. Also charged for a face mask that I didn’t use.
