Service was terrible. Person working drive thru was so damn rude. Almost $9 for some nachos that is JUST cheese, tortilla chips and some under-seasoned and cold carne asada meat. It almost tastes like some damn liver Never coming back to that amapola ever again. The ambiance is not very welcoming

If you want some of the best spicy chili Verde this is the place, with homemade tortillas, I would recommend this little mom and pop restaurant

U really do need to check ur cooks cause rite they don't give a damn what kind of food comes out of that kitchen I've been enjoying it food for years but it's really getting to expensive and way way to sloppy ur people don't give a damn what kind of food that comes out of ur kitchen we have put a lot of money in ur business but we don't want to get sick and the quality is gone

Leaving 1 star is killing me.... today I went to get a carne asada burrito and omg when I tell you the prices blew me away 11$ bucks for a funky burrito an small drink ... but then I went to take a bite it was horrible , the meat had no flavor , it was thick an chewy , huge chunks of onion an cabbage ugh I threw it in the trash where it belonged... wtf happened to amapola I'll never eat there ever again an it's sad cause they use to be really good... never again!

NEVER AGAIN! Not my regular Amapola. I went inside to place a to-go lunch order. Ordered 2 chicharron burritos and 4 chicharron tacos along with 2 tostadas, 2 SB tacos and 2 taquitos ($58). When we got home, we were missing two chicharron tacos. When we started to eat the burritos, almost every piece in both burritos and tacos were not only soft and mushy (normally it's deep fried and crispy) but it was all fat. Not one item was edible, had to throw them away. When I called to relay my dissatisfaction and my missing items. The man on the phone told me to bring the receipt in and he'd replace the items. Not sorry or what can I do to make it right, just drive all the way back, bring receipt so he can validate my order and remake it. Why would I want togo thru all this again?? I simple solution, NEVER go back there and stick with the original Amapola on Mt Vernon! Don't go there, make the drive to the ORIGINAL!!
First time at this location. I was picking up a doordash order and thought to get a veggie burrito. I'm vegetarian therefore I don't eat cheese. Got to the drive-thru window to ask for no cheese only for them to tell me they'd have to charge for a redo because they already made the burrito. The drive thru is 10feet from the window. And the customer is always right. They refused to remake the burrito, so I left. What an awful first experience and definitely my last. I guess the customer isn't always right...

DISGUSTING!!!! I never go to this Amapola but I was driving by & decided to stop for lunch. There was hair in my pork fries it was white & black. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. Don't waste your time going here.

This place is trash I ordered a two fish tacos dinner plate and when I got my order my fish was fish sticks and my beans were watery, plus the whole plate literally looked like it was made very poorly and sloppy.. then I ordered deluxe carne asada fries and my guacamole looked dark and watery I do not recommend this location

This place is bad. Ordered some chili verde fries with extra meat. It was small container , smaller then the other locations. And I've had them at the other locations with regular meat and it was still more meat then this place, with extra meat. So disappointing.

It's crazy how Inconsistent this place can be ..one day the food is fresh and awesome and the next it's old and cold . Pork fries are either very good or very bad no in-between . Please tell your workers if there customer service can be a bit better. I'm a very patient guy but 30 min wait for fries ? Not good.. and green sauce y'all ran out of green sauce . How does that happen
