My Mom used to take us to H. Salt in Huntington Beach when we were kids 50 years ago. I have so missed that taste. Over the years, I have tried a lot of fish and chips from nice restaurants to other chains and nothing has compared. This location doesn't disappoint, the food is great! The store needs some cleaning up, new paint, etc.

Mike couldn't have treated us better, or prepared my food more perfectly! I've loved H Salt since I ate there almost 2 decades ago. Somehow it's gotten even better! You know when your food is so good you must have it immediately, even though every bite is scalding you?Yeah, it's seriously THAT good.If you're in the IE and haven't eaten there yet, or you just haven't been back in a while... then you really need to pop back in! It's the same ol' H Salt, but somehow it feels brand new again. I have no idea how they topped perfection, but tonight they definitely did! Thanks Mike, for the great service and the best fish n chips I've had since I don't know when!I'll definitely be seeing you again soon MikeDietary restrictions: I have medical restrictions to my diet, and the rare times I eat out, I'm usually searching the menu for the foods my body can tolerate that actually tastes good. There, all I have to do is decide which delicious option I'm going to choose tonight
