Owner would not honor $100 gift card that we had purchased 6 months ago on 10/24/2023. We were dumbfounded - he basically stole our money!

Very good tofu soup (soon due to bu). Different taste than BCD and definitely worth trying. More of a homey taste.

There was a wire in our jajamyeong and my dad almost ate it. Imagine what would’ve happened if he ate it. They compensated with another one and apologized, but at that point our mood was ruined and we didn’t want to eat anymore. Our stomach and we didn’t bother finishing. Update: The jajamyeong we took home and ate for two separate meals gave me a stomach ache both times. The service was extremely slow and the workers didn’t seem to be trained very well. They were really nice and welcoming, but in terms of service it was terrible. We got our shortribs with out any bowls or rice. We were sitting there waiting for a very long time and we had to call for them every time we needed something. In terms of portion they should’ve given a lot more. $33 for 5 pieces of meat and a watery tofu soup isn’t even close to being enough for an adult to eat full. Even the jajangmyeong portion was significantly bigger. I appreciate the owners efforts overall serving us, but we will not be coming back.

Food is great ate here multiple times since 2015 but prices are just outrageous now bibimbop used to be 9$ now it's 20$ and in Korea that's considered fast type food so prices don't make sense considering it mainly rice and vegetables. Taste is only reason I continue to come because everything on menu is actually real good and true to korean food except rice cakes taste like can spaghettos sauce poured over them.

5 stars because it tasted good and the service was good. With that said, these are some tiny portions. I got the large and I could have eaten a second bowl. I'm some skinny 165 pound guy lol, the large here is like a small at other pho
