I tried various Happy Lemon stores and none of them has tasty drinks, and yet this brand was on recommendation to me. Many other boba stores actually have better milk tea. This place, I have tried 3 times with different items because I thought there must be something good about it that my friend recommended it. Nope, they’re pretty average. Nothing special.Kid-friendliness: They serve waffles and milk teas.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entrance and elevator

The drinks are fine - it’s the constantly >20 min wait times that are insane. It’s also impossibly hard to access, on the 2nd floor of an abandoned mall where the escalator up has been broken for almost a year. It’s literally faster for me to drive to another boba place even though this one is right next to me, because of how they consistently take FOREVER to get the drinks out. It’s unfortunate because the drinks themselves are fine. :(

We came here for some drinks and we try to pay our drinks with membership rewards but owner refused! Said headquarters won't pay them back the money. It does not matter because that's how we earn our rewards from our hardworking. So we end up have to pay for it!!! Our rewards works on other happy lemon store just this one is not professional and not following rules so....not so recognize either by calling wrong order numbers randomly

Seeing all other reviews about the Asian woman owner recommending 100% ice on tea drinks so she could put less tea and nickle and diming customers about bag fee charges, only hires one worker at a shift no matter how busy or how long the line gets at times! My experience today at the place further proves that the owner care more about $$ than making a customer happy and right! Been a customer for a long while. First of all, the woman owner refused to let me redeem my rewards points saying "I am having hard time recouping my $$ thru HAppy Lemon"! Bummer! Fine, ordered two drinks, one of it being "green tea with salted cheese". She ended up making me a milk tea one instead. I politely asked her to change it back to green tea. She refused! Saying " I already made it, I repeated the order to you and you said yes(which I had no memory of and I trusted her without looking at the screen when I paid), look at your receipt! Blah blah blah...so what? I knew what I ordered! You won't make it right over sugar and water? "Nope, I already made it"! I told her she had "bad customer service! And she replied "everyone told me I had the best customer service! If you don't like it and don't come back here and I don't care!" Wow, is she living at her own world? Just the fact she refused to make my order right! How can you have the best customer service? I ended up so pissed and never in a long while I had to called her a bitch and left. This will be my last time buying drinks from here! I encouraged all others who value customer satisfaction and service to boycott this business! Making a profit is a business goal totally fine but at the expense of giving customers bad vibes about you care more about $ than your customer satisfaction as a business is wrong and I hope you close up soon!

Happy lemon Premier (does that mean its not an authentic branch?) spoke to the employee. He said theres always only one worker assigned to work a shift. So when there is a huge order ahead of you, good luck. "Premier" means the branch is subcontracted. Meaning, third party. In other words, quality is not as good as real Happy Lemon stores.

Managers have horrible customer service skills. The actual barista’s / employees are much more skilled with customer service and I have appreciated the times they helped me so much.Yet I’ve walked in on the managers snapping/being rude to their employees; which is hilarious considering the skill gap.Place is never open on time; once came in at 3pm and the store was still closed. Not surprised employees don’t stay with how management seems to act, and of course management can’t be damned to work as much as they expect employees to.Also a dollar for no ice is a damn joke. The Uber storefront for this place is even more insulting.

Smoothies were delicious although I prefer a thicker, dense texture. Extra charge ($1) for the milk alternative and $7 for my avocado matcha while mango matcha was $6.75 both with boba ($0.75). Service was prompt and professional. I definitely recommend!

I have been to many Happy Lemon locations and am usually satisfy with the drinks. Today I ordered the salted cream black tea with boba and bubble waffle with the salted cream dip on the side. The bubble waffle with the salted cream dip tasted the same as any other location and was good! However, my drink tasted a lot sweeter than usual probably because of the brown sugar from the boba. There was a very strong brown sugar aftertaste, so I think they dumped a lot of brown sugar into my cup when they were adding boba. Wasn't a fan of that aftertaste and it made my drink so much sweeter.

Popped into this Happy Lemon on Jan 1st for my usual Ube Taro Puff Milk Tea, no sugar and light ice. Ran into a middle-aged Asian lady, probably the manager since she wasn't in the usual uniform. She told me to go for 100% ice, saying they'd have to pour in more tea otherwise. Kinda weird, right? It sounded like she just didn't want to use more tea and was pushing ice instead. I tried to say I'd prefer more tea over ice, but she cut me off and suggested I should try it her way. Then, out of nowhere, she starts chatting about their new Vietnamese coffee. I gave in and went with the 100% ice, but yup, you guessed it - the drink was super watery and skimped on the boba, not at all like what I get at other Happy Lemon places. Felt like she didn't really hear me out, and I ended up with a disappointing drink. Probably won't swing by this location again.

This store is located inside the tanforan mall which is starting to look quite empty. I went there on a weekday and there was no line at all. I remember not having great memories of this store. I looked through the ordering app and the prices were insanely high! Like $10 a drink. The happy lemon drink at another location were way cheaper. I decided to stop by to look since I was strolling in the mall anyways. When I checked in store, the prices are reasonable, so tip, don't preorder if you can help it. My go to drink at any happy lemon is the grapefruit with yakult. However there was an advertisement for an Okinawa milk tea with boba and the price was reasonable enough to entice me to try it. My usual is 25% sweetness with no ice. I asked the man how sweet is this drink and he said besides the brown sugar there is regular sugar, but the tea can be kind of bigger. So I was going to go for my usual 25% but the lady next to him said even 0 % it's sweet and if it's not sweet enough we can add it for you. Sold! Nice lady. The man also said how about 25% ice, because no ice costs extra. Wow usually places just charge you and not tell you, so I was like ok I'll take the 25% ice. After I got my drink, the lady said try it first. I tried it and it was perfect. Great service this time. Maybe the years back when I tried this place was either a weekend or maybe different owners.

My work ordered boba to go for our team. I got the jasmine GMT. I don't know what's going on but recently I've been having really bad boba. The boba is hard in the middle. It's pretty upsetting given that we paid $9-10 per boba via DoorDash. Boba stores need to step up their game and cook fresh boba if we're going to be paying almost $10/drink.

They ask for extra 1 dollars for NO ICE! Very nonsense!
