Great authentic Korean food with the best flavors! Will definitely be coming back for their galbi and japchae noodles!

I went again haha I can't help it! Jus wanted to leave a review on the new item I got, korean fried dumplings. All I have to say about the dumplings, "if skin could talk"...crunch factor, 10/10. Size/portion, 10/10. Taste, 10/10. Enjoy!

This review is long overdue, but I frikkin love Korean food so better late than never. Came here on the first week of august last year to celebrate mine and my husbands birthday (they're three days apart). I believe he ordered a bimbimbap and I ordered the young chicken ginseng soup. And of course we ordered some other stuff on the side. The only thing I would comment on is I wish the service was slightly better. But I guess it was a pretty busy day and we came closer to closing time.

Very inviting and warm environment! Was guided through the menu and was suggested yummy food! My favorites were the bulgogi fries & the stone pot! Would definitely recommend for people who are in the mood for some Korean food!!

Oh my goodness - I've been missing bibimbap for so long and Hiro hit the mark! Great food, great space and great service. I don't want to repeat other reviews but you've got to try this place. I took my husband who has never had Korean food and he was immediately a fan. We will definitely be back and bring everyone we can

This is our early Valentine's dinner. Wanted to try a new place for Korean food. Pretty good! We ordered the Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Stir Fry Pork, and Veggie Tofu Soup. I didn't expect pieces of veggies in the Beef Bulgogi. I prefer my meats without veggies, the true Korean way. The Veggie Tofu soup was served boiling hot and we didn't notice the egg that came with it. By the time I cracked the egg, it stopped boiling. Soup was okay. The kimchees were good, quite a variety. Dishes were served quickly. Way too much for 2 people. At least we'll have nice leftovers for the Super Bowl tomorrow! Pricey but good. They close at 8 pm though.

Been here many times for lunch but unfortunately they are close for lunch. Our last dinner here with 8 people was good but some items fell flat. Lunch was a great deal, but no more.

I ordered their Tofu veggie soup and was very pleased with the portions and quality of the dish! This place will definitely be my new go to Korean soup spot!

This place is literally a hidden gem. My husband came by to grab dinner before we went to the movies and it was so cute inside. I think they had just opened up so it wasn't too busy and got sat down quickly. We only had about three different things and shared it between us but it was sooo good. We ordered the chicken karage, bulgogi fries and ramyeon. I know, such simple things but they made it better than I could even try. I think the ramyeon was suppose to have mushrooms but we didn't get any because I think my server heard me say I was going to request to not have it. Me being so forgetful, I forgot to ask for no mushrooms but it came without any anyways! I super appreciate that! We agreed to come back as often as we can to try different things on the menu. I really wanted to order the cheese corn and Korean pancake but I didn't want my eyes to be bigger than my stomach. Our server was kind, everything was delicious. Even though we were just there last night I already want to go back. I can't wait to come back. I think my husband and I found a new date night spot to come to!

Favorite Korean restaurant in the area easily! We come here at least once a month (sometimes once a week). It's the best bibimbap and tofu soup I've had. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly too. Give it a try you won't regret it!

This is a review from my visit on 12/4. Very clean restaurant very welcoming. Food presentation is really nice. Fresh ingredients. This was my first time here with a friend who had visited with her whole family a week or two before. I would go back for sure. My only complaint we where all caught up in our conversation we lost track of time didn't realize restaurant closes at 8 pm was not informed kitchen was closed and we wanted to order more appetizers.

Service was nice, quick and friendly. Very attentive and answered any questions about the menu. Menu options were a little limited but was good either way. Overall a nice sit down meal with comfy dining and music.

This is wonderful family owned restaurant, reflected in the quality of service and food. This is the best Korean food I have eaten in San Francisco. There chicken soup is to die for. They have a great selection and all is prepared to perfection. The mom cooks and son serves. It's like going home to family. This is truly a hidden gem. Next time you want a great experience go to Hiro. Japanese name, but authentic home cooked Korean food. You'll love it.
