Food and service were great, as always. Ginatang dessert is one of the best I have ever tasted. They can make special dishes, like I did with kawalisilog. The gulaman sago (the original boba drink) was great! We also got free soup while we waited for our order. We always go here when we're in the area; we live over an hour away. There are parking in the rear if you can't find street parking at front.

The food became ugly and low quality. The sisig is different and became just a choped small meats. Doesnt even taste Sisig. The sinampalukang manok was blunt and 70% soup and all you can taste is powdered seasoning. The dinuguan was soupy with chewy meat. Not authentic taste. Disappointing experience. The athmosphere in the store was so sad and gloomy. It seems untouched for decades. It used to be good but it went downhill and so bad. The rice tastw so cheap you can taste the old age and brittle texture. Its like NFA rice or the lowest quality rice they are service. The food was the worst tasting Filipino food in bay area. I do not recommend. Go somewhere else. Apparently the owner do not listen to its customers. Theres a lot of honest and constructive review but they just ignore it.

We ordered their Pansit Guisado and Canton noodles. This is our first time trying their dishes.... Canton tasted okay but the Pansit was not good. Too salty and there was an awful after taste (not sure what it is?). Avoid this dish when dining here.

Went for lunch with a small group, the service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious, highly recommend the garlic fried rice and the lumpia. The Ticino and Sisig were also both fantastic.

A bit rétro inside but it adds to the charm. They cooked the boneless bangus so perfectly, you could eat the head easily. It was better than what I had on some spots around there. The kuya’s lumpia has beef, garbanzo, carrots, peas, and a very small amount of raisins. It’s like a lumpia empanada. Yummmm!

A small cozy place. Very nice and friendly staff. You can tell they love what they do. They cook and serve with love. I enjoyed the food here. My fav was actually the fried fish which I forgot to take a picture of.

Went in for lunch around 1pm and it was much more empty than this place deserves! Really gracious service, incredibly delicious and authentic food! The sisig was mouthwatering and the all day breakfast plates are a great way to sample one of their main proteins and the garlic fried rice. One word of warning is that I wasn’t able to tip with credit card so have cash handy.

I luv kuya’s, this place reminds meOf when I grew up in my Lola’s house.I love the boneless milk fish, garlic rice and lumpia. Plus reasonable price compared to their bougie cousin Isla at the corner.

This place was recommended by a student of mine. Obviously, it was my first time. Street parking only. No valet service. Limited indoor seating. So many delcious food to choose from on their menu. Must try the bangus (milkfish) sisig and crispy beef short ribs.

Small place and not much ambience. Pork inihaw is good. This used to be my number 1 choice for Kare Kare but now went to the bottom of my list. Not much meat in it and watery. Even the tinola has less meat too.
