We stopped by on Sunday per the recommendation of a friend. The food is delicious and cheap! The staff are also nice and had a huge variety of food available in addition to the menu. I had the beef noodle soup and it was refreshing with the stock! It was definitely enough for one person and the Pandanus dessert afterward just made the meal perfect. My friend's pork noodle soup and Thai tea was excellent as well. We will definitely come again.

Food was fantastic ?. Tastes home made. You won't find this in the fancy restaurants.

MANGO SALAD!!! Its got green mangos, rice noodles, tiny dried shrimp, and peanuts. 100% must try. It's my favorite dish ever. My daughter loves getting the whole fried fish and we always finish with mango sticky rice. Everyone here is so friendly and they sometimes pass out treats to the kids like honey sticks or fruit jelly. Love this place!

I love this place! Great way to support the temple and the community. Plus the food is delicious and cheap. I try to come a few times every month during the weekends and it's always a delight. They have a bunch of prepared food, desserts, and made-to-order dishes as well. I loved the ba mii moo dang (egg noodles and pork) and the khao mun gai (hainan chicken)!

Who knew that Thai temples serve food on the side? I certainly didn't! At the recommendation of my Thai friend (so you know it's good), we tried having lunch on Friday at Wat Buddhapradeep. We tried almost the entire menu and the most stand out dish for me the Thai sausage. It's slightly funky and made with fatty pork and natural sausage casings for a crunchy bite. The pork laab was also very traditional with toasted rice powder and plenty of lime. For me, the papaya salad with crab was perhaps too authentic. I didn't really enjoy the strong flavor of the fermented crab but to each their own! The pad Thai and pad see ew were great as well, but not the best I've ever had. The menu changes on the weekend, so I'm eager to come back and try the extended menu! Come by to sip Thai tea and enjoy a unique dining experience in the temple courtyard!

Not quite sure how this place operates. One of the guys in our group today recommended this place. He says its a Thai Church that cooks out of their kitchen in the back. It's not an actual restaurant. I heard of church groups cooking like this. It's kind of how they raise money i'm guessing. But i'm really not sure. Anyways, we pulled the menu off of yelp. Was told that all meals are $10. Desserts are $5. And Thai Iced Tea is $2. And tax is included!! So we gave it a try and one of the guys ordered for all of us and he picked it up. Unfortunately, I was the only one that they got the order wrong. They gave me Pad Thai with chicken by mistake. For $10, I ate it. Although I almost never order Pad Thai since i'm not a fan of seafood, this place makes it different. It was pretty good. And there was no shrimp. Just chicken. Everyone in our group liked their meals. We did order fried chicken to share and I would not recommend it. It was very dry. Luckily it came with some type of Thai dipping sauce. There was also a small box of rice that came with the fried chicken. I was told it was coconut sticky rice. I was too full from my meal to try it. I had a piece of fried banana from one of the other guys that ordered it. Never had it before so I don't how it is supposed to taste like. It was pretty good. I would order from here again to support the organization. The meal was definitely worth the $10. It came in a plastic to-go container so it looked very professional.

Heard of this place for a long time but logistically challenged to come until we decided to hike in Pacifica. Now we have a pre-planned route! This Thai temple is very simple and small, the restaurant is from a home kitchen. If you go to the restroom at the back, you have to first pass the main hall which requires shoes off. The restroom is also a home setting with even a shower stall, and it's quite clean. The floor is cleaner than my home, I didn't see a single strand of hair! On the way you'll see the small kitchen with 2 stoves and the chef busy at work. The lady at the front is very friendly and helpful. She would tell you what each item is. They showcase a few food items on the counter, especially the daily special and desserts. The seating area is just outdoor under a tent in the front yard of the temple. We tried the daily special yellow curry, a spicy fish with eggplant dish, pad Thai, crispy pan fried mussels with eggs, pandan jelly and mango with sticky rice. Overall the portions are generous, the flavors are rich and piercing through the whole dish for the curry and the spicy fish. The curry is not spicy at all and the sauce is great for rice. The Pad Thai tasted fresh and the sauce is evenly distributed among the noodles. The noodles tasted chewy, which is a good sign of freshness. The pan fried mussels with egg is like the Taiwanese style oyster cake but the mussels are big and plump, tasty. The pandan jelly is softer than I thought, so it has this gluey texture and full of coconut flavor. The mango sticky rice is sweet, especially the mango that is ripe and juicy and sweet, much better than a lot of restaurants even it doesn't have any coconut sauce on top. The only thing I would not suggest to get is the Thai tea, although sweet it lacks the tea flavor, but for $2, there is really no loss. Entrees are $10 each and dessert is $5, great value with the quality, quantity and service! There are so many other dishes we want to try, will definitely plan another Pacifica hiking party! :) Btw, they take cash and venmo only.

One of the better places to be in San Bruno. Wonderful community in a peaceful environment. Thai food is already good on its own, but the dishes here are also made with love and it shows.

There are several Thai temples in the Bay Area that serve food to the public on the weekends to raise money for the temple. This one in San Bruno is one of the smaller one, but still intimate and friendly, and the food is authentic, inexpensive and fun.

For those of you who are familiar with the Berkeley temple this is a breath of fresh (incense laden) air! Less crowded, same amount of hospitality and technically advance with Venmo and Zelle! I did miss the tokens though. Not really, math isn't a strength of mine. The volunteers who help with the food and ordered were kind and the monks came out and were welcoming to me, even offering a pandan dessert for me to try. (Yes I did buy some at the end) It also helped that I was the only one there on a Sunday at noon. (Apparently they sell Friday and Saturday's too!)It felt different from the fast paced environment of berkeley and less touristy aka crowded. Maybe the Sunday lunch time hour is a slow hour? There's parking in the lot and on the streets.F o o d:Ordered: --crispy eggs with mussels: different and interesting. The crunchiness of the bean sprouts blended with the crispy eggs. ---The pad see ew was pretty solid: fresh veggies, and a lot of protein. ---The tapioca pork balls were alright. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was room temperature. Highly recommend for a different pace to those who enjoy Thai food and culture.

It's a Temple, not a restaurant, so be prepared for that. The entrance is in the parking lot.The food itself is delicious, but it's only open Friday to Sunday.Definitely recommend ?

Please do yourself a favor and stop by here on Fridays to Sundays from 10am-4pm for their delicious and affordable Thai food!! All entrees are $10, deserts are $5, and Thai tea is $2. They accept Venmo/Zelle for payment and are dog friendly! We ordered the Thai sausage, fried chicken w/ sticky rice, papaya salad and crepes. The food comes out fast & is hot and fresh. The people who work here are also so so sweet and there are 3 large tables for you to sit at and enjoy your food. The fried chicken was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was seasoned really well and the sticky rice was soft and cooked perfectly. The thai sausage was fatty and had so much flavor. One of my new favorite places to get thai sausage!! The thai tea was also really solid, not too sweet and a perfect accompaniment to the meal.
