I hate to leave a review like this for a local business but the food was practically bottom of the bin for me. The super burrito left a whole lot to desire as it was mostly rice with a skimpy amount of meat. All would've been forgiven if it tasted better but the flavor was completely lacking in all aspects. This would've been fine if I was in the middle of nowhere but alas we're in the Bay Area where the competition is fierce. Perhaps it was an off-day but I definitely won't be back. Even in aspects where it was promising (e.g. the salsa), IMO there's simply too many other places out there that do it as good if not better. If you told me that this was prepared by someone who had never eaten a burrito in their life then I'd honestly feel inclined to believe you.

My favorite taco truck! I've eaten a lot of tacos in my life but Ruddy's has to be #1 in my heart! And belly! Soooo good! I will forever keep coming back here. I took my Mexican taco aficionado girlfriend here and she loves it. We love the carne asada, pollo, and pescado tacos. The salsa they put on it is HOT. You can tell a good taco when they use the good corn tortillas, which this place does. I always get a side of Mexican rice to go with my tacos, which is *chef's kiss*. Make sure you ask for extra pickled carrot and lime. Service is always friendly. Park in the nearby parking lot and eat your tacos and watch the beautiful...view...of El Camino Real. LOL.

Tacos or good! was craving some today and decided to try burrito. The worst I ever had, cold and dry. I was wondering why it was done so fast. So disappointing when you craving food taste and get dry nothing.

This was our second time getting food here. I'm gonna start off by saying the cashier was a little disrespectful laughing when we were ordering and they kept staring at my girlfriend creeping her out. We got a quesadilla with carnitas, calbeza taco, and a carne asada super burrito. The quesadilla was our favorite from last time and was one of the best quesadillas we've ever had, but this time is was good not great. The meat wasn't as flavorful. The taco and the plate it was in was loaded with juice and was spilling in the bag. It was good, but it was a damp taco. Now to the super burrito. I was so excited for the burrito, but it was kinda sad. The tortilla was stale. Loaded with mostly rice. And lacked the other condiments.I'm definitely not keen on coming back. There's plenty of better places to go.

Food is really tasty and tacos are the bomb. Wish they offered nachos. Order was correct since I don't like lettuce on my burritos. They always get my order right. They have no seTing, but it's a food truck.Al Pastor TacosCarne Asada Tacos

Food and prices are well worth it. I haven't seen a price of a taco so well reasonable and a lot of meat portion. This truck is a staple in the city of San Bruno.

I found my favorite taco truck that's somewhat closer now, only if I'm working onsite haha. I love their carne asada tacos, both mild and hot! I devoured 4 in 5 minutes LOL. I think I can eat the tacos from here everyday if I could. I went almost everyday when I discovered this truck and tried it. Sooo good, worth a try!

Their prices are comparable with other trucks, but I felt like the flavor was lacking. It was also nice that they had things that most others not like seafood.I ordered Tripas tacos ($3), seemed like the meat was more fatty that anything and simply not much flavor, sorry to say. Maybe it was an off day? I mean I am always down to try places twice just in case. Also ordered carnitas tacos ($2.50), which again were ok but seemed flavorless. Nothing really special to it, no seasoning, nothing. Also ordered a carne asada taco ($2.50), which again was just ok. Didn't have much flavor to it and nothing special.Last but not least also ordered a shrimp burrito, shrimp was cooked well, but again...pretty plain. Felt like no seasonings were added, just tossed on grill and thrown in.The best part, at least for me, because everyone is different. I like that they use corn tortillas versus flour. Gives the taco a little crispiness, which you don't find at a lot of places.I will go back to try again, like I said just in case they had an off day but for now...it's down the block to my usual.

From the past pictures of this taco truck, I didn't get any turnips nor jalepenos. Maybe they stopped it or ran out. It would have been nice to have experience the full package if that is what it is usually. Regardless, their tacos are still packed with flavor and sauce. A bit on the dry side, but that's why they give at least lime wedges to help with the dry side. Their beef cheek is superbly tender! Chorizo was nicely spiced up as well as their pastor. I wish they added the pineapple and made it al pastor instead. It would have made it one upped on that taco! They ran out of fish, which is what I wanted as a seafood taco so I just ordered up two pastors. I should have gotten like carne asada beef, but desired pastor a lot more at the time of ordering and substituting the fish instead. They have rice entrees and burrito wraps. My eyes are always on tacos when it comes to taco trucks! Their drinks are mostly bottled. I wished that they served up more fresh drinks, such as horchata or iced tea. I didn't want any of the bottled sugared drinks. I delved right into the tacos and it surely satisfied the cravings of tacos!
