Sad this place is closed down. It's my favorite smoothie spot in town as it has a very unique and distinct taste than most other smoothies with their unique secret smoothie mix. I hope they relocate somewhere nearby as it was the last one left in this area. The next one is a 45 min drive which is a bummer. :(

I got the large 32oz kale smoothie with strawberry and banana. I asked for half ice. $10. Very refreshing.

Well got here on Saturday 11/12/22 at 11 and the gate was still closed. Had to wait until 11:10 to get help and the cashier was very rude, didn’t not look like she wanted to be here very off putting.

Still a bummer, hours are wrong and can’t find it so it’s not here

Address takes you to the gateway inn. Pictures look like it was located in a mall, but I don’t think it’s open anymore

The older gentleman that works here too the order and money of about 5-7 customers and did not wash his hands or use hand sanitizer. He did not use gloves. He was touching everything with his dirty hands, used the same lid to cover different mixing containers. He also used a cup to pick up ice and every time his hands touched the ice. So disgusting. First and last time I purchase from this place.

I usually like this place but for some reason this is the 2nd time I come around 7:20pm and they're closed yet the mall closes at 8:00pm. The first time I came no one was at the register so I went to Target to kill time while someone showed up. I went back and I could see the person cleaning up. I just came yesterday and again. Around the same time I was able to ask if they were opened, the girl immediately said NO And that they close at 7:00pm...how inconvenient is that? If the mall closes at 8:00pm they also should close at 8:00pm. Or at least update your damn hours on the website. Bad service! Won't be coming here again...

This is my favorite smoothie chain in the bay area because it has very distinct taste that I love. Unfortunately, I rarely visit nowadayz since so many locations have closed down and there are none in the south bay anymore, where I live. So, when I stopped by the Tanforan location, I was glad to find that the quality and taste has not changed (for the most part). I keep it simple, the low cal strawberry smoothie (no banana flavor, nothing else). I know they use a sort of powder in these since I've watched them make it many times. But to me it has a phenomenal fresh taste which is somewhat addicting, and since I choose "low cal" I don't feel so guilty drinking it. The flavor is usually a both fruity and milky, with a recognizable creaminess that balances really well and makes it different than many juice and ice-based smoothies out there or Jamba Juice; Surf City smoothies are a mixture of crushed ice, smoothie powder, and fruit, not too sweet (though during my recent visit to the San Bruno location, the fruity taste was a bit weaker than usual). Nonetheless, these smoothies are so refreshing, perfect for the start of a new day... or a new week (or a new relationship, or new life ;) The San Bruno location is open later than the other Surf City Squeeze shops in the bay area, and the kiosk is on the lower level of the mall (there is no mall entrance nearby so gps will not accurately lead you here). The service is satisfactory, not extraordinary but no complaints. The girl helping me was friendly, and made my order quckly while also helping other customers. The wait was between 5-10 minutes on a Monday.

We came here this past weekend while shopping with my niese at Chili's & were very happy with the efficient service & prices. My niese loved her smoothy with fruit & boba & I loved my peanut butter & bannana as it was smooth & creamy; like a Riece's without the chocolate. I will definitely be back to try the Oreo smoothy & other drinks. So, for wonderful smoothies at reasonable prices with friendly & efficient service, Surf City cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.

Smoothies and shakes...what else really needs to be said! Can't complain because this place has always been consistent for me. Strawberry banana smoothie with some protein and we're good. Only critique, usually only one person working so if you're an impatient person or in a hurry this may not be the spot for you.

This place is so pricey it's crazy! I bought two SMALL strawberry banana kale smoothies with boba and it cost me $14.07! Say whaaaaaat?! Mind you I got the smallest size for both smoothies! I asked the cashier why it was so pricey and as he explained it to me, I couldn't help but be annoyed. They kept piling on the charges! It was one charge for a fruit smoothie and then they added a charge for more fruits, kale and boba. The total is $14.07 folks! That's a lot for 2 small smoothies! That's $7 each! I went to a local boba shop and it cost me $7 for 2-16 oz boba drinks for $7. This is more expensive than Jamba Juice! Eek! Probably not gonna come back here!
