The traditional bánh mì is surprisingly good. Very happy with it. I wouldn't expect it to be so delicious and authentic from what I thought is a donut store. The brown sugar milk tea should have more brown sugar syrup but overall, I'll order from this place again.

Had the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi. It was good, but maybe it would have been better if i eat it fresh. (I walked about 1.25 miles before eating it.). Overall, the taste was very good, but a tad on the salty side. Bread was soggy by the time I got around to eat it. But considering how much food you get for the price, I'd definitely try it again. While i was in the store, the pastries looked good; will definitely try it out next time.

I FOUND MY SOUL TRIBE! First let me tell ya they make one heck of a breakfast sammie and they're 24/7! I haven't been in Chuck's yet but I've ordered via DoorDash a few times and they keep exceeding my expectations! They're so cute! I requested a croissant for the bread on the breakfast sammie and they were out so I got a plain bagel which is awesome but they wrote me a cute note on top of the sammie container "out of croissant" which is so kind and thoughtful. I also ordered their cream puffs which are fantastic! They're perfectly injected with cream right before they hit the door running. Lightly dusted with powdered sugar, they very tasty! One more very important item I need to mention and makes me want to love them until the end of time...They included a free glazed donut in a cute little baggie with a sticker that says "thank you free gift!" Aaahhhh! I love them! I nearly fell over when I received my order tonight. Chuck's menu is flipping huge! They've got everything, from all kinds of donuts to specialty coffees, boba drinks, breakfast items, burgers, sammies, whatever you 24/7 heart desires! They're also reasonably priced. These folks are wrapping everything up with love. Give them a try!

Randomly found out that this place has banh mi? Yes please! We love Banh Mi but our spot is in SF and it's impossible to park so it take two people to want to go from San Mateo and honestly it can be a hassle - so I saw this place within a few miles from home and decided immediately that I needed to try it. Today. Ordered the fancy pork (bbq pork egg pate) and the combo (ham pork pate) we were so pleasantly surprised with the flavor and the quality of the bread crunchy flavorful a good amount of all item n the sandwich - it was only lacking in jalapeños - fortunately I always have them at home so we sliced some up and added them to the sandwich - the bbq pork and which was room temp by the time I got it home (I think they made the eggs fresh) and the combo was cold becasue the ingredients are cold - no problem - wait a little to eat (no!) or pop it in the microwave for like 6 seconds so bread is still crunchy yum yum yum will come here again - more convenient than sf for us in San Mateo! And honestly, the quality of meat at this location is better than our usual spot! Oh! And grabbed a couple donuts too - not bad - especially the maple bar yum yum but Banh Mi preferred any day!

Great place , I never thought of this place having food . I actually had breakfast here and it was really good. They have great donuts and even better food. The prices are really reasonable too. I mean eh you're getting the famous chucks donuts here cmon

Not bad donuts, came here on our recent visit to San Carlos as the other Chucks Donuts in Belmont was hard to access due to construction on Ralston. Seemed like the donut selection wasn't as much like the one in Belmont when I visited on a Monday late morning. They also have other food items like drinks and sandwiches which we did not try. Not sure if this location and the one in Belmont are related; the one in Belmont is my top choice in the area when the donut mood strikes.
Excellent breakfast sandwiches, donuts, and Vietnamese iced coffee! I also once had my coffee stolen by a DoorDasher and one of the VERY sweet employees (Laura) gave me free donuts with my replacement order! This place is lovely.

Quality was there and I like that they have a private lot in front. Inside was pretty clean and organized.Donut case was filled with all different kinds. You can sit indoors if you want to. The donuts were fairly fresh and fluffy. We got variety including chocolate glazed and maple bar. Most of them were good The place is in a small strip mall. Also service was very friendly and nice!
