I have mixed feelings regarding this place. First off, I cannot eat gluten. I asked them if they had any gluten free options and they literally don't offer ANYTHING. In 2024 it's a bit shocking as most places will at least offer one option so that was pretty disappointing. If you can eat gluten, the cakes and pastries look pretty but I can't speak of how they taste. I ordered an iced chai and it was super basic, seemed like it was just from a store bought thing. It wasn't great, wasn't horrible. They do have a bunch of tables that are by outlets which is great if you're studying as well as being open until 9 which is great since most coffee shops in San Carlos close earlier.

I only took out coffee, but the iced Americano was really delicious and the staff was friendly. And there are so many seats that you can come here to study (there are also many seats with charging cords inside).I only ordered coffee to take out. Iced Americano was so delicious and not pricey. This place was so huge. When I visited here, it was around 2-3pm and not many people were there. There are some seats outside as well. Also, the employees were friendly.

I got a potato curry croquette from the curry croquette section, but it was actually crab meat. Thank goodness it was imitation crab otherwise I would have had an allergy. Please place things properly where they should be. Also the guy at the front was so apathetic and did not want to be here today. I'll stick to the other Paris baguette locations, but this one was terrible

Nice location in San Carlos Downtown. Space to sit both outside and inside. Amazing baked dishes, although not as many savoury vegetarian options but plenty sweet vegetarian option.

I got to try the whipped cream strawberry cake. Delish. Light, fluffy, super fresh. My only comment is the hugh box that went with the cake. I have never seen such a hugh box. Yes, the cake served 20 people but such a big box. It literally can put a kid in it. I realized why. The cake was on a platform with writing. They included a cake cutting kit with knife and candles. cool. Thank you. They took the time to put in box and tied a big ribbon around the box.

I purchased a raspberry croissant 2 days ago. It was delicious... until I found my mouth a plastic piece from the bread. I threw it out and continued eating... then I got something hard again. This time I got a half inch brown paper from the bread. I went to the store and told one of the employees. He told me to get a new free one and see if it's better. I asked if he could pass the experiment to the owner but he said he didn't make the bread and the owner is not here. So I grabbed a new raspberry croissant thinking to give it another chance. This morning I just had it, and yet again I found another piece of plastic in the bread!!!! This is totally unacceptable!!

My family visited Paris Baguette San Carlos Sunday evening (March 3). We purchased two strawberry cheesecake, 2 croissants, and a slice of mango coconut cake. We found a small fly in our cake while eating it there. We told two female workers immediately and they said they would have the owner call and apologize. I left my name, phone number, and a description. I still have not heard back after 2 days, and our experience is very disappointing and not acceptable.

W went back on a raining Saturday morning. It's the best place for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 dogs) to hand out here at their outdoor space which is totally covered. We haven't found a better and more spacious place than this also super dog friendly in the Bay Area.

Bought a cream donut just before they closed and it was filled with mayo instead of cream. Waste of $5!

The bread and pastries are displayed beautifully in the shop. Lots of variety to choose from in a spacious interior. I am a big fan of their fruit pastry. It has a nice layer of custard underneath and a variety of fruits on top. It's always such a treat! Good flavor and size too. There's a small parking lot by the building, and more spaces in the area as well.

We love Paris Baguette as a chain, but this particular location needs to train their employees on customer service.

Decent quality and great variety, but service was iffy. Forgot my drink order for a long time. Also seemed short staffed.

So excited to check this place out because of all the hype and the cool and clean design. Was pretty disappointed to hear that all of the pastries come frozen from Korea or China (not made in house) then just heated/decorated before being brought out! So disappointing! But I guess that's always going to be an issue with foreign chains, they make compromises to quality. Service was fine, that's why the 2 stars, just seemed understaffed and not excited to be there/help me out. Much rather support local and fresh over corporate and frozen from out of country. You can't put make up on a pig and expect everyone to call it pretty!
