My boyfriend took me there for dinner on Valentine's Day 2 weeks ago. Based on my pre-experience, they had a rich menu for a special night. The food came a little late (it is very common on special days) but the guy who took care of our table was very polite and friendly. He apologized for the delay and fixed it right away. I think he's called Robeen or Robyn (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Then I went for brunch and had a similar experience. Enjoyeee.

West Park is a local gem! We had a wonderful large family meal in their quiet wine cellar room. They handled everything wonderfully, including our guest using a wheelchair. Plenty of space. Food is always good here.

The servers were amazingly nice but unfortunately they or the chefs.. literally lost our order after bringing kid meals and the meatball appetizers. They brought kid ice cream deserts without mentioning they were accidentally behind in kitchen so we asked what happened to OUR food and they explained the chefs were running behind due to the big birthday party going on that they had to take care of first. What?!?! Well then they shouldn’t have accepted our reservation or those of others BUT no one else seemed to have suffered our fate. We were enjoying the meatballs feeding the kiddos but when we realized we had been there for a hour after ordering we knew they messed up. What arrived was a soggy not toasted English muffin on 3 breakfast orders.. cold soggy spinach couldn’t for the life of me taste the wasabi in the bland Hollandaise sauce and kids didn’t finish the should have been fluffy waffles but instead were undercooked soft only somewhat crispy on 1 side. Potatoes were fine. Nothing about our meal was noteworthy which had it been would have helped forgive the huge faux pas with order but Stacks had better Eggs Benedict. I never leave bad reviews but was celebrating our own birthday with family and was so disappointed as this place came personally highly recommended! I was even looking forward to trying the paella and other amazingly reviewed dishes but this one visit although may be an exception was absolutely unacceptable. My family didn’t want me to complain just not come back. We paid left a tip but I waited a bit then decided I wasted a good afternoon when it should have been a treat. so all I have left is to say if you see a private party going on maybe rethink your plans

Over booked and understaffed. Food has historically been really good but they forgot our entrees so we got them late (kids food and dessert came before we even got ours and we had to find someone to get them for us) and the cooking was obviously rushed. Wait staff tried to compensate but honestly I was really disappointed and won't likely be back.

Server was so bad this time. Didnt seem to understand orders or provide alternatives. We asked for sourdough bread and he looked clueless and said didn't have it, he didn't say we have house bread ?. He just seemed so not interested. We came with elderly couple 80 years and up and he had no interest to ensure the table was taken care off. We had so ask if every little thing including coffee. Not going back here.

The quality of the food is always consistently good, the service excellent, and the abience pleasant. It's our family's favorite dining venue. Some of our favorite dishes are: pork chop, (always flavorful), the best fish tacos (lunch), pear/gorganzola filled pasta, fish dishes. Soups & salads good....the dessert menu is just okay.

Recently enjoyed a business dinner here. Nice place with great service. Photo is the lamb t bone dish.Some of us felt the food was over seasoned but still tasty. Those that ordered fish noted that it was slightly overcooked.
Some great vegetarian options and good vibes. One of our go to place in San Carlos.

We went for brunch. We were pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was, and the kitchen did a solid job on the food.We had a big group of 7 that was half teenagers and half adults. Everyone raved about the food.Highly recommend and we will be back.

"Happy Hour" is advertised as 4:30pm - 6:30pm. What they don't tell you is that you have to ask for a drink that it actually applies to, otherwise they will charge you full price. The bar staff don't offer anything it might apply to either. Over-priced and no atmosphere. There are better places in the street where they do what they advertise.

West Park Bistro is a great neighborhood restaurant to go to. Everything is very good. Great service, very good food, great bar. ambience is excellent. And for a special evening, have a group and enjoy the wine cellar.
