This place is amazing! We come here all the time and get the best food and customer service. Armando is the kindest person and it's always a pleasure to see him working when we come in.

Love this place! Super casual and friendly service. I always get the SC rice bowl it's sweet with green apples, fig, proscuitto and fresh basil. Huge serving and is definitely a two-meal kinda order. I start craving it at least once a month. The yogurt is definitely on the pricey side but so so good. Definitely a go-to spot for girl's lunches and moms with kids-gets busy in the summer.

Wholesome bowl is my go to. Delicious! I would come more often if the portions were a bit bigger, the yogurt is good but really expensive. I was pleased to see a different flavor up today " Irish mint" but that flavor was out or not working. Hopefully they will keep this one. One last thing, the tables outside are often kinda dirty, they should be a bit more on top of the cleaning here after people leave. But I'm glad AC is here in town!

My wife gave me the idea to visit the San Clemente location and, she was not wrong. From the staff to the atmosphere and food, I have no complaints. My patient and I were very happy with the service, cleanliness and the super fresh taste of our order. Top of our list was the "Not your Mama's nachos" followed by the "Naked coconut smoothie", I then tried the "Berry Tasty" smoothie. Thank you to the staff for the great time.

Always fresh, customer service is awesome. Clean, organic ingredients. My favorite açaí bowls in San Clemente.

Absolutely nothing to write home about and I don't know that anything is organic. The eggs are, according to the website. But nothing else is listed as organic. Not any of the items I looked at on the menu anyway. Only 'natural and homemade'I had the breakfast burrito and it was very plain, not at all close to delicious'. And the only option is a white flour tortilla. Ew. The smoothie I had, I did not like. I wouldn't recommend spending your hard earned money here. I was sad that I did.

Grassroots Burger was okay if you like Cumin seasoning. Stay away if you don't. Would've preferred good old salt, pepper, and garlic powder for a burger, albeit a veggie one. The BBQ lentil burger tasted better , had more "zing". Tartar sauce is another suggestion that would elevate the bland lentils in that burger. Restaurant is a great eco-friendly place. They compost the trash. Staff super friendly.Kid-friendliness: There were lots of kids here. Not a quiet place if that's what you'd like.

Went to have a breakfast bowl and breakfast burrito along with smoothies. No regrets!Portions are a great size, feeling filled but not stuffed.Everything vegetarian with vegan options, can only recommend.Located at the busy main road but recessed well enough.

I've eaten at this place a few times as there aren't many 'health food'/vegan options in San Clemente, but I won't be in a rush to return. The location of the café is in the heart of San Clemente and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I had the 'Grassroots' burger most recently and it was very oily and fell apart. The accompanying tortilla chips, which had no salsa or other dip, were extremely dry. It was just disappointing.I've also tried a couple of the salads, which are completely unremarkable and bland. $16.99 for some leaves and beans is far too expensive.Overall, the items I've tried at this place lack flavor or anything special about them to justify the price point.
