*****Best Bowls Ever!*****My eldest and I were in the neighborhood for a couple of days. The previous day we had acai and pitaya bowls elsewhere. We came here with no expectations. The shop is small and cozy and they have a few tables outside where you can sit next to the Dr. Who robots and Tardis. Service is superb. The hosts are friendly and full of smiles. We were both surprised at the freshness and quality of our bowls. We ordered:1. Campground-1/2 pitaya, 1/2 acai with granola, banana, strawberries and blueberries. Super flavorful. Smooth. Tasty.2. Moonbeam (my eldest ordered this) which was strictly Acai.I have to say that the cost was the average for the bowls but worth every penny. Both my eldest and I agreed these were the best bowls we have had. I would easily come back again. The parking lot is small but we found space. Alohana is all that and a bag of chips!

The açaí consistency is like gelato! And the granola is fresh and crunchy! We'd ordered the T street. Delicious! The vibe is very laid back and the staff is friendly.

-This review is for their mobile truck -Bowl was delicious, service was just as good. I liked that they make the bowl right there in the mobile truck. It looked as if it came from the shop. I saw my friend order a bowl and that sold me.Some customers in line were happy to see the truck because they frequented the storefront . They gave me suggestions on what to order and the rest is history . I enjoyed snacking on my bowl while walking the DP Surf and Art festival.

This place is SO GOOD! I highly highly highly recommend it! Their Funky Monkey Mocha (I added the optional oatmilk) is one of the best ice blended coffee drinks I've had in my life! Perfect during a beach day.The açaí bowls are yummy! High quality ingredients, lovely balanced taste! Lots of fruit on top!So yummy.Also, they have magnificent souvenir items, including puravida bracelets! (I find them to be perfect friendship bracelets) This place is highly highly highly recommended.A must visit in San Clemente and during any drive from LA/OC to SD or vice versa.

San Clemente has several good acai bowl spots - thankfully - but Alohana is a favorite for two reasons (1) the bowls are fresh and super tasty and (2) they serve excellent coffee! Two things everyone needs in one spot. Added bonus, the location in Old Town has a really nice island vibe. Seating is outside on the patio area and the location is a short walk to the shops in downtown. Great post beach day spot

My fiancée and I make sure to come to Alohana everytime we are in the OC area! It is our favorite Acai bowls and we love how the store is set up! It is very warm and welcoming. The bowls are good no matter what you order. I have personally had the lowers and the rivi bowls and both have been outstanding! My fiancée loves the lowers bowl. We both agree that the açai is the perfect amount of sweetness and the fruit always tastes fresh!
