The food isn't bad. I just wish they were more friendlier. I even gave a tip, said thank you, and NOTHING. Don't expect a tip if you're going to treat customers without respect. Don't expect to get it in return!

I think this is probably the best Chinese food. I’ve had here in San Clemente or nearby it’s always fresh and hot. I do take out and eat in, and the portions are generous and very flavorful.

This place is good. Their portions are large. However, I always want it late on weekends and it’s not open after 8:30. Online ordering stops at 8. They’d probably make more money if they stayed open!

Food is ok but they just made me wait 20 minutes on a lunch break. Told the lady I’d be waiting outside and 40 minutes later I walk in to see them sitting on their phones and my food just sitting on the counter getting cold.We deserve better. There’s a Panda Express down the street that’ll get you out in 5 minutes.

I think most of these reviews on YELPare fake or from the employees. Not really fresh food AND NOT GOOD. Orange chicken was mealy and not crisp, lacking flavor and no sauce. It was dry and mushy. Chow mein was greasy and frankly just like every other greasy Chinese place. Even the vegetable egg rolls were bad. Trader Joe's has better. I was really disappointed. 2 stars because it was so cheap. Get it together China Bros!!

I recently discovered China Bros because Board & Brew decided to close on Halloween at 5pm, which seems fairly absurd. I digress. So my friend and I wandered a few stores down to the open doors of China Bros. Inside were several Chinese people--even the cooks. So we knew this had to be a solid, authentic Chinese food establishment. We were not let down. The king pao chicken was reminiscent of what I'd eaten every single day for four months straight when I lived in Nanjing, circa 2002. The chicken and broccoli was also sublime. Even a green beans dish was tasty. I'll be working China Bros into my regular rotation.

We’ve eaten here (both take out and dine in) 10+ and are always happy customers. The place is squeaky clean, the food is good, and the service is speedy. General chicken is our favorite dish.

I ordered the chicken wings and they were super dry and didn’t taste fresh at all. I called to let them know I wasn’t satisfied and I was hung up on!

San Clemente has always been lacking in authentic ethnic food, so I am glad to see that China Bros has opened up here. Before them, you had to go all the way downtown to New Mandarin Garden which isn't even that Chinese. And yes, China Bros isn't super authentic either, but they have good menu variety with all the staples and everything tastes fresh. Most importantly, the American Chinese food places around here generally lean sweet, like Pick Up Stix so I am glad there's now a place to go that doesn't do that.

Hot, fresh, delicious! Asked for something special and they made it happen right away. Friendly staff and accommodating. Ordered lunch and the servings were large. We are from our of town and are so glad we picked this restaurant.

The first two times it was really good but the third time I got orange chicken my husband got chicken chow main had chicken bones my Husband most choked on the bones . orange chicken was nothing but crispy skin and hardly any meat and we always get extra. It was horrible Sorry never going back there again.

I love everything I've tried here, and they've got an impressive menu to choose from! The chow mein here is exceptional--I've ordered it before as a meal just because it's so tasty that I find myself craving it. Their yellow curry is also really yummy, mild but with flavorful aromatics and generous chunks of chicken that are tender enough to cut with a spoon. Portion sizes are extremely generous especially for the price, and the service is always professional--fast & friendly. While you can eat inside, I prefer to take my food to go as the vibe is more fast-casual than dine-in.

Gotta give this place 2 stars rating because 1 star seems too harsh. The food looked AMAZING online, too bad I didn’t get the chance to try it because they close at 9PM officially, but when me and my friend who went out of our way to get some showed up at 8:40PM we were told by one of the employees playing on his phone outside that they were closed…. 20 minutes early. Rubbed me all kinds of the wrong way. I won’t be giving them any business in the future, either.
