I was looking for some new small mex food that is not a big chain and I have never been to and stopped here just off the highway on our way to the outlet mall. Small clean place and it wasn't busy so we go our lunch quickly. Tacos were very good and quesadilla was good as well. The churro bites were good as well.. but i'm a s***** for any churros.

I just went to chronic because a lot of places aren't open until 11. I got a tostada bowl with rice, carnitas, cheese and lettuce and wanted the sour cream on the side instead of in the bowl. I also ordered tots, after the lady rung up my items and I paid and I asked for the sour cream, she said it was going to be an extra charge. She was also very skimpy on the meat in my bowl. Also I paid $2 for like 6 tater tots.. what the hell. I'm never coming back

Pretty good tacos. Good selection of meats, toppings, and sauces. Friendly service. Good drink selection. Fair prices.

This location is a bit of a rip-off. Old dried out food, very small stingy portions (not the normal size burritos, a lot of extra tortilla just folded in on itself). I ordered the vegetarian burrito which comes with guacamole and fajita veggies, they only gave me rice and beans (which were old). They lacked many of the normal toppings that are at Chronic Tacos (no lettuce, no guacamole, no sour cream, no nacho cheese, only one choice of salsa, no fajita veggies). They still charged me for the vegetarian burrito at full-price. Also, they don't let you watch them make the burritos which is sus. Went to order a drink and all their fountain drinks and agua frescos were out of order. The burrito wasn't inedible but it definitely wasn't worth $8.25 plus tax. When I got my burrito it was just mainly cabbage and rice. Really couldn't find the beans or cheese or other toppings. I definitely think this Chronic taco location is cutting as many corners as they can to save money. Sorry Chronic Taco for the bad review but it was a super lame experience. We ended up going to the Laguna Niguel location to get what we actually wanted for the same price. It was wayyyyyyyyyy better!

Worst chronic tacos I've ever been to. Genuinely surprised how shitty it was. Dog meat served here

Just so happen to stumble upon this sweet gem… good solid fresh Mexican food!!! Got the combo plate with carne asada rice and beans. Everything homemade fresh!! They were also sooo kind which is a huge plus in my eyes. Can’t wait to go back and try other delicious looking things. Oh and super clean!!!

I got Chronic Tacos delivered from Uber Eats, as I am visiting and don't have a car. Delivery was great and my order was correct! I probably wouldn't get the pollo meat if I were to order again. You can pick and choose what's in your taco and maybe that's why I didn't love the chicken honestly. I did like the Mahi, it was made well and very tasty!

Was craving some breakfast later in the day so picked up a couple of egg and potato breakfast tacos. Picture doesn’t look great but they were good and pretty filling for the price. They were lacking on the potato though and included just two tater tots in each taco. I added beans as well for an extra 50 cents each with my other topping being guac, cheese, and pico. I like the option of being able to customize your own.

Spent 22 dlrs this morning on quite possibly the worst food Ever... cold, tasted bad, had been sitting there for a long time.. completely lack luster attitude of people working there. Returned the tray of food. Did not request a refund but let them know that what they were serving the public was just not up to standard... they need to try harder...

Chronic Tacos will get the job done. If ever there was a city made for Chronic Tacos it is San Clem. Outside of HB, I cannot think of a beach city that would make Chronic Tacos feel more at home. The prices are fair, the attitude is relaxed, and you can stop in as high as you like without an issue. The Pollo Asada, Carne Asada, and Shrimp are all great choices for proteins and since they build to order, you can hardly complain about the toppings as the ingredients they use are certainly fresh enough. I would stick with the Tacos however as the Burrito have far goo much filler for my liking. The employees at this particular location seem a bit lackadaisical and careless, but you are walking into a spot called Chronic Tacos so what did you expect? The good news is you can easily leave perfectly satiated for under $10.00; The value prop is quite evident. I would place Chronic Tacos between Wahoo's and Hole Mole on the Mexican chain scoreboard which is to say they do a great job and can consider me a huge proponent. They should be on the short list if you are in the area and craving Mexican/American.

The counters are sticky af and it smells like roach spray. I feel bad for the lady because the systems were down and she was flustered but in the mean time my fish tacos are sitting on the counter....getting cold. The floors were also dirty, they really need to get it together I'm going to toss the tacos because there's no way I'm eating fish that's been sitting out while they figured it out. Just lost $11

Love the concept but the execution is poor. This is my 3rd try here. My burrito was cold and I dined in. The steak flavor is poor even with the claims of "premium grass fed". I got the steak burrito and paid extra for guacamole and the the chips and drink combo. $15 seems like too much for a burrito that doesn't compare to any other taco shop. Also, quantity wise, the burrito was small. I did think the chips are good so 2 stars overall instead of 1. Also the place is dirty and the music was so loud I could not hear the person making my burrito so I gave up on trying to customize it. This place it trying to compete with other chains like Wahoo's, Chipotle and Rubio's. I would say they are in last place.

I should have read the reviews. I ordered the small burrito and she asked me what me what meat i would like and I said chorizo. Then she said that one is only in the large burrito. I said okay. As I was watching her make it I noticed that she only put two tater tots in the burrito. I asked her only two tater tots? And she said yes only two in the large burrito. I didn't even know what to say. There was a Del Taco across the street I should have just went there.
