IHOP , what can you say, been around forever, quality of food is still questionable. 55+ BLT had about 2-1/2 maybe 3 slices of bacon ?. My 90 year old parents are really down with IHop so there we were.

This ihop is decent, not the best, but definitely not the worst. However, they do have the worst service. You're not gonna get water or menu for 10 min food for 20

This place is literally empty and they messed up the order, also gave me the wrong drink when I asked for a coffee to go and even pointed at the sign for it. They also refilled my buddy's drink with the wrong drink 3x... this place is empty... how-

Just tried their Homestyle Turkey & Stuffing Dinner and let me tell you... it has to be the worst/saddest thanksgiving meal you can get. Priced at $15.99, you get two dry pieces of turkey and tasteless stuffing. Gianna was our server and she would dash away before I could tell her that she forgot my straw. I was only provided with the initial drink and no more, even though my cup was empty for the greater half of the time I was in the restaurant. I shouldn't have to hunt her down just to get a refill. Especially when I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time. My initial thought when the next customer walked in was "Run away!"

A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with Celiac; a disease resulting from gluten intolerance. For those of you who think as I did prior to my diagnosis, that gluten free was just the latest diet craze, it's not. You get diagnosed because you have symptoms, which can lead to serious consequences. The process includes an endoscope examination, a biopsy, and a blood test looking for one or both of two genic markers that predispose you for Celiac. Having them doesn't mean you have Celiac; the endoscope examination, biopsy, and blood test confirms that. I was positive, and because I was, my two adult sons were tested with one also positive, making it necessary to test his two daughters. One negative, one, 4 at the time, also positive.I tell you all of that to make the point that Celiac is a very big deal. Read about it; if you or anyone in your family have symptoms, get tested. tinyurl.com/2jbfh6fkI checked IHOP's menu at their San Clemente Cal location, and found they offered "gluten friendly" waffles and pancakes. Great; my wife and I and our two granddaughters, were there this past Saturday night for a gluten free waffle dinner for my Celiac granddaughter and me. We ordered, the waitress said, while it is on the menu, they no longer offer it. Too difficult to clean the equipment. I make GF waffles and pancakes at home. Cleaning the grill and waffle iron having used GF mix is no more difficult than cleaning when using mix with gluten. But ok, we'll have the GF pancakes. Around midnight that night, I woke up to horrible lower intestinal pain, a classic response to having eaten something with gluten. The rest of the night only got worse. I now understand that "Gluten Friendly" is IHOP code for "We haven't a clue!"Giving IHOP the benefit of the doubt, I'll assume they did make my pancakes with GF mix. But I'm almost certain the kitchen made them on the same grill used to make regular pancakes, without cleaning it first. If you read about gluten, look for cross contamination, also real.I understand that attempting to accomodate people who cannot tolerate gluten is a burden for restaurants. Ok, just don't say you do when you don't. Saying something is "gluten friendly", doesn't excuse you from what your food might do to those who cannot eat gluten.

Had an awful experience picking my order up from this location. My order was set to be ready at 12:05pm. When we arrived near 12:40pm, it was still not ready. We asked the front staff if our order was ready and they were rude and condescending in the way they addressed me and the few people waiting. They rudely said “the kitchen is busy” and walked away when I asked for an ETA. There were 7 people in the kitchen and a lot of to-go orders were sitting waiting to be packed. When our food was ready, we were missing items from our order and our food was cold. Not once during our wait did anyone show any kindness or positivity. The way we were treated at this store is very disappointing given the reputation IHOP has of excellent customer service. The fact that not one person on the staff had a positive attitude is reflective of the management and the work environment they’re creating.

Unwelcoming environment, condescending staff. I have never seen such an attitude from a server in my life. (All I asked was if we could split the bill)… i would never return here. Very disappointed in the way I was treated. Do not eat
