I absolutely loved this place. Came here on a date, and it was such a lovely spot to have a conversation. I love the detail of the dining area. They have a great menu with many healthy options. The food tasted flavorful and fresh. No complaints at all. We came during a slow time, so service was fast and the food came fast. Definitely recommend a try!

The truth is that we didn't find it so pleasant, since the service was terrible (the girl always made mistakes about everything and was not friendly at all, super sour and annoying), the sauces are totally different from the Peruvian ones, they really shouldn't be so spicy, much less a tartar sauce, they should have Peruvian chefs or at least someone who really knows how to prepare it. The place is almost clean, not completely, and the food is not served like in other Peruvian restaurants, they serve very little. In general I do not recommend it, super disappointed. Finally, the price is much more than other Peruvian restaurants and they taste better than this one.

A wonderful little gem in old town. Went there tonight and the food and service were fantastic! The restaurant is beautiful with a design that seamlessly fits in with the area. Get the ribeye saltado, it was amazing!

I love Inka Mama's and the phenomenal food, plus the quaint location really makes this a great place to go. The food is extremely flavorful and delicious, and the ambiance is great. Intimate, nicely styled with a missionary design. And the staff are extremely polite and helpful. A tip- ask for their soup options. They are off the menu and really really good. (I love aguadito de pollo and the bean soup.)

The food was great. The service was not so good that I had to leave $96 that was included in the bill.

Great Peruvian place in San Clemente. Easy spot right off the 5, half way between La and SD for a stop off point. The egg and rice dish I had was so yummy and could have easily been two meals of I hadn’t had to eat the whole thing right there.Relatively easy parking right out front and in a cool old Spanish market square.

Lovely space and great ambiance. As for the food, I've eaten here once and had the veggie paella. I wished the flavors had been more compelling. It was simple and fine, on the dry side. I think worth another shot since I live close by.

Best Peruvian food in USA PERIODT. Drove here for an hour after my hike, because this place is literally bomb dot com.

Ordered the Inka special and it was disgusting. The dish came with sautéed French fries and seemingly frozen / canned vegetables. Nothing was fresh and the fries in the sauté? The menu said potatoes not French fries !!! It was very disappointing and the waiter was unhelpful and said that the menu said "French fried potatoes"..... I looked and it certainly did NOT say that. I would never order fried potatoes to be fried once again in a soggy style sauté. Obviously they just ran out of potatoes or something?! This was suppose to be "the special" ..... it was seriously awful and not to mention expensive. I will say the Ceviche was yummy although I wish there was some plantain chips to be serve with it. I will never go back here again. Not worth the money to pay for frozen vegetables.

Well this place is absolutely adorable, a hole in the wall with absolutely amazing selection and great drinks, we took out kids and they had great selection for the little ones, the apatizers amazing, but the main dishes were as well however they showered in salt... ? so it took the fun out of eating and all day we were thirsty.
