I can't speak for the pastries but the food here is expensive and not that great. I had the basic burrito because it was the more reasonably priced item on the menu and I was not impressed. Also it was very salty because I couldn't stop drinking water for hours.

Came here with our dog and sat outside. It does not have the same vibe as the Villa Park location, not by a long shot. Very empty and not a lot that sets them apart from the other restaurants in the area. Our waiter was very pleasant and the food pretty good. It took about 25min for our food to come out. They have dog bows with water and heaters on their patio.

We are disappointed with their San Clemente location. At first, their bakery area was filled with delightful baked goods. Now they only have a very few items. We were the only patrons in the restaurant area at 10:30a. The help is and has been excellent since the day they opened.

Good cozy atmosphere and excellent service. We had breakfast which was very good. The coffee here has very good flavor and is fresh. Wished the meal came with a bread item like: toast, biscuit, english muffin etc. The food was well prepared and the cajun potatoes were excellent. I would recommend.

Amazing! Great food, great workers and allergy friendly. We always want to find gluten free options and found ourselves here and the waitress and cooking staff were so accommodating. Everyone should try this place. It has great vibes I would recommend it to everyone!

This is the 4th time I've been here since this restaurant opened at San Clemente. I'm finally ready to provide a review. Food: it used to be good prior to the pandemic, but now I think the quality has gone down some. We ordered the ahi salad and an omelette. The ahi was not good; It did not taste fresh. It was really one of the not-so-yummy salads I've had in a long time. The other dish we ordered was an omelette. The eggs were over-cooked and the meats were on the dry side. The cheese was non-existent. After our meal, we were going to pick up some bake goods until a bug was spotted sitting on top of the bakery item we were going to purchase. No bueno! Overall, the food quality was not as good as it use to be years ago, sadly. Service: it's a mixed bag. It used to be terrific but the last 2 times we were there were... meh. I think if you sit indoors, you may have better service because the staff can see you better (at least based on my past experience). Ambience: surprisingly, it was not lively as it use to be. There was a sports game on TV in the bar area, but it was not busy as I thought it would be. It can get noisy indoors as the floors are concrete and the sounds will bounce off the floors and high ceilings. Outdoor seating is plentiful and can be nice on a warm day. The only negative about the outdoor dining experience is that the floors are not swept often. Under various tables, there were packets of sugar, plastic containers of jam, food items, straws, etc all over the floor. Perhaps it was just my observation during the hour I was dining there? I drove 30-minutes to this restaurant hoping that it was as good as is use to be, since the pandemic is behind us. However, I'm not sure I will come back again, based on my last 2 dining experience here.

This awesome Cafe/Bar is perfectly positioned at the San Clemente Outlets! Thier Sunday Brunch was both entertaining & delicious! I took my fiancée out shopping and upon completion, we had definitely worked ourselves up a appetite for some cold drinks and a solid meal! We shared the Huevos Rancheros & Quinoa Chicken Salad. I was pleasantly surprised I could get such quality meal in a shopping mall center- it was DELICIOUS & HEALTHY!! We will definitely be back to enjoy this awesome establishment to explore their menu further. Thanks to the staff again =)

Was really looking forward to enjoying breakfast here. However, we only got as far as a cannoli (which earned this 2 stars instead of 1), a nasty cup of cafe coffee, and a coke with lip marks all over the glass. Service was friendly, but not attentive. We politely told them why we weren't going to stay and they understood.
