Great service, delicious food! Will be back very soon. Tried the BBQ Short Ribs, Beef Bulgogi, Chicken Teriyaki, Glass Noodles and Spicy Pork Bulgogi by recommendation of the owner.

The food was very good and authentic. The portions were also big. There was one man there, I think he was the owner, he was very kind and attentive.

Stole our money without authorisation from us. Total bill was 45$, but they charged us 55$ how awful is that

When you visit an ethnic restaurant, it's a bad sign when you don't see anyone of that race in there. I think I'm the only Asian that's not family or being paid to leave a review cause this place is terrible. My husband had the chicken noodle bowl. There was no actual chicken meat, but what looked to be a piece of liver and some other unidentifiable chunk of something. He also mentioned the noodles tasted like it cost 25 cents a package. I had the generic chicken teriyaki. I know it's a Japanese dish, but nothing was appealing on the menu to me. At least there was chicken in my dish. I would not recommend this place, spend your money elsewhere if you're looking for authentic Korean food.

I have driven by this place for a few years so my wife and I decided to give it a try. I don't understand all of the 4-5 star reviews. This place is awful. I ordered chicken ramen and I can honestly say that I don't think it was chicken in the soup. It did not taste like chicken at all...probably horse or something else. Ya, no chicken taste AT ALL. Also, the ramen tasted just like the cheap 4 for a dollar ramen you get at the store. My wife ordered the teriyaki chicken and it was so salty you could hardly taste the chicken. Although this seemed to be real chicken. So these 2 dishes and 2 drinks came to $30.00. Seriously this was at the top of some of the worst food that I have ever had. Also, just to add, I was stationed in Korea for a year when I was in the Army, so I know what real Korean food tasted like. This isn't it.

This is an ultimate neighborhood family owned Korean food restaurant. Their food really has a soul and I always enjoy going there. Owners are very polite , friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended

Found this place on Yelp cause we were going to the Outlets. It's exactly as everyone says, a "hole in the wall", but I can tell you that "hole in the walls" have the BEST food! It's such a cute mom and pop store, I'm pretty sure it's the owners running and cooking the food, but that's what makes it so GOOD! It's like going to a Korean friend's house and their mom is cooking up a dish. I ordered the bibimbap, that's what I usually get at Korean restaurants. I was NOT disappointed. I had some at another restaurant last week and it was NOT even half as good as this place. I will DEFINITELY come back to this place again!!! My only complaint is I didn't get to take a picture!!! But that was my bad though.

I went to this Korean BBQ place based on the reviews that I saw. I wonder if any of those reviews are real. The food was not worth it; my total bill was a little bit over $200, I have been to many Korean barbecue restaurants and this is by far the worst. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I was very surprised of how bomb the food is here. They make you feel like you’re at home very friendly humble people. Really recommend the japchae they make it with mushrooms, onions, green onions, spinach and pork.

The service and food are excellent. The owner was very friendly. One of the best Korean food we ate in SoCal.

food is good. service is good. The ambiance of the place needs mucho work though. They only have lights over a few tables in the middle and they are openly using the rest of the restaurant as storage. Also the place has no music going so it makes you feel like you should box your food up and leave. With a little work this place could be awesome.

Love this place. One of, if not the, best Korean restaurants in South OC. Great portion size. Delicious food.

This was an interesting spot. I was on my way up from San Diego when I decided to have dinner in San Clemente. I was looking for something different than the usual places you might stop at along the way. If you are looking for authentic Korean food, and I'm a white guy who knows nothing, this looks like the place. I really liked the tofu soup which is served in a cast iron pot as a single serving, for about $13.50. I have never had tofu soup and it's great to go somewhere and get something that you have never eaten. My girlfriend had the Korean short ribs which were excellent and arrived fajita style on a sizzling platter. There are two versions, one about $25 and one for $45. We asked the owner what the difference in the plates were. He couldn't explain very clearly but we figured it came down to the size of the meat though he kept saying that the $25 plate was trimmed where is the $45 plate was not. He also mentioned that he buys the meat for something like $13 - $15 per pound, so, while this is nowhere near a fancy spot, there is value for the money and the food is authentic and it's cooked and served right. The owner was the only one besides the Cook running the place. They could use some music because it was pretty quiet while we were sitting there. It seems that he has half of the lights turned off to save some money. This looks like a converted Mexican restaurant. The owner said that he had been there for four years. I initially was going to put three stars here but I'll give him four stars for the food and the effort. And I say him because it's clearly the owners work that shines through on this unusual spot in San Clemente.
