This is a fast food place. You get what you get at any good fast food place; nothing more, nothing less. Food is reasonable. Service is efficient. Atmosphere is acceptable for take out. I wouldn't dine in, feels a little congested.

The man who is serving is very rude and is always angry. I always ask him for some soup and he says they don't have any, they never have them, but I think he is the one who doesn't want to serve.

Waited 15 minutes outside the door for them to open the doors at 10 when they open and the guy just stared at us and continue doing whatever he was doing instead of serving customers. Doors are still locked at 10:15.

Sign says open, online says open and doors are locked. I placed an online order for pick up. This is so frustrating.

I went I to order a sandwich and asked for chicken. Out from the back appeared this plank of hard chicken. The server put it between the bread and I said no thanks. Subway, if you can't serve fresh, delightful food why bother?

Clean, fast & great customer service. I don't even live in San Clemente any more, I make the drive just to eat here. I definitely recommend them.

I do recommend this location as 1) its been remodeled, 2) staff greeting customer upon entering, 3) staff taking Covid-19 precautions i.e. mask, hand washing, 4) staff making recommendation when I'm undecided, and 5) clean, outdoor seating. If you haven't tried Subway in awhile, give them a chance ... new image and menu items.
