Very bad the experience, the lady who attended us, a lady with glasses was super unpleasant. I will never come back there

Terrible service! 2 employees with no enthusiasm for work, they didn't offer us any extra options (which we knew we could choose), they always wanted to finish the order too quickly, they didn't even offer drinks! My opinion: if you're not happy with your job, look for something that makes you happier, there are many options!

Every single time I come here, it's not the best experience. Kids running the shop really look and act and talk like they just are miserable. Their attitude is terrible. The way they talk to people is just awful. I come here out of convenience but oh my goodness... this place just has awful customer service. Sorry.

The guy who works the closing shift moves as slowly as he can.

I had the worst experience at subway located in Walmart city of San Clemente The female staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I stepped in. Additionally, the food was not fresh and tasted stale, as if it had been sitting out for hours. I was extremely disappointed with my meal and the overall service. If I could I would give them 0 out of 5.I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never be returning.

The worker who served me was so nice, so I'll give 5! Amazing service, wish I couldve gotten his name so I could shout him out

Went just because I had to and my sandwiches were pretty great. Probably the best I had in last 3 years. Yes, it's still Subway, but I now know why they call them sandwich "artists". Thanks!

Wow he just didn't care what I was ordering , just slapped it on the bread and told me to pay. Disappointed, disrespected and over subway

I've been to multiple Subways, even this location multiple times. I'm not an expert on the creation and corporate standards for their sandwiches, but after placing the same order at least 40 times, I'd say I'm pretty educated on what they are supposed to look like. Once again, I am not a sandwich artist expert, just a sandwich lover. Just think of me as Joey Tribbiani from Friends, just way smarter. Getting back to the whole point of this review, I've been to this location multiple times and never had a sandwich disaster until today. This experience would've put Joey Tribbiani into a state of shock. My order included two kids sandwiches, both with turkey and bacon. The kid behind the counter looked to be a high school student, but I think there's a chance he's secretly living in his car, which seems a more logical explanation for cutting itty bitty kids sandwiches. Is he secretly pocketing those 6-8 inches of bread he cut off the foot long loaf? Maybe he's training pigeons for races and doesn't want to spend too much money on bird food, so he's saving the scraps? Was this pigeon training sandwich artist hoping I wouldn't notice the sandwich was way smaller, and that would be his or his pigeon's snack for later!? Who knows. Typically, the sandwich artists, when cutting the loaf for two kids sandwiches, usually take a foot long loaf, cut it in half, then cut the curved edges of the bread. There's something magical in watching this. Maybe I'm just a weirdo. However, this pigeon training sandwich artist, cut the foot-long loaf in half, cut off the edges, then proceeded to cut both halves even smaller. I just about jumped when he cut the edges again. I was secretly screaming inside my head "why are you doing this?!" My eyes grew even bigger as he trimmed off more of the two kids sandwiches. Why was he doing this? Why did he think they weren't small enough? It was like witnessing a massacre. I've never seen such small sandwich. It was 2-3 inches long. It was so small that he had to fold the meat into quarters to fit it inside the itty bitty loaf, and the meat still stuck out. Like I said, since the pandemic, I've frequented Subway's all over Orange County. I've never seen them fold one slice of turkey deli meat into quarters! Halves yes, but quarters was insanity. To add to this insanity, he put the bacon on the sandwich without putting it in the oven first. I don't know what masochist wants cold floppy bacon. I'm pretty sure even a masochist ordering a subway sandwich with bacon still wants it heated up. I couldn't stand there any longer and not say anything. I asked him why the sandwich was so small? He said it was the right size. He said it was supposed to be 3 inches. No, this can't be! I explained that I am a frequenter of the Subway chain and have ordered this kids sandwich more times than I'd like to admit. (Hey, at least it's not McDonalds). I then explained they've only ever cut the rounded edge off. I've watched this sandwich creation so many times, there had never been a discrepancy. He then proceeded to pull out a 6-inch loaf and put one of my kids sandwich mini-loaf next to it for comparison, saying "see, I told you, they are supposed to be 3-inches each". It was still less than half. The whole time the cold bacon is laying on the sandwich begging to be heated. I give up the fight. I realized his pigeons need the bread more than me, or he really needs it for snacks. Because what else will they do with the leftover scraps, if not throw them away. Finally I asked him to warm up the bacon. I paid for my mini-sandwiches, with feelings of utter disappointment. I usually tip these sandwich artists, since making these sandwiches honestly seems like a pain in the a*** But for the first time ever, I didn't. Because some pigeon someone was eating the bread that I already paid for.
