How sad. This used to have really good Thai food, now it doesn't taste like anything. It might as well be bland Chinese fast food. The dinning experience was horrible; they ignore you and throw the food on your table and serve take out customers like a fast food restaurant. The pot stickers were barely warm and all you could taste was salt on Crying Tiger beef. Even the Pad Thai tasted bland. WHAT HAPPENED? Not going back!

Amazing local Thai food and friendly service served at Thai Dara. The portions are all huge, there's probably 3 to 4 servings in each portion, so that's why the prices are about $15-$20 per entrée. I ordered yellow curry w/chicken, pineapple chicken ried rice and pad thai. I usually like to get pad see you or pad Thai.

This is a tough one to rate as food taste was fantastic, however I had to search for the 3 tiny pieces of chicken in the Pad Thai Chicken, come on, really. And the rub was $14.50 for a side of Fried Rice No Meat, receipt attached. You be the judge, just be aware!

Not real happy with the portion included with the dish I ordered. I mean 2 pieces of shrimp. Really now, let's not get crazy with the shrimp portion. The service was mediocre, not bad, not great. The restaurant is so tiny you couldn't fit a half playing size of a pee wee baseball team in the room.

Pretty weak Thai food place. Glass noodle shrimp salad had two shrimp. For the price, there is no reason for us to return. There are too many good Thai food places in town to need to return. Pass for us.

Ordered the glass noodle shrimp salad. Received the plate with only two shrimp. For the price this is pretty sub par for the price.We asked the manager if the portion size was a mistake. Her response was that the salad should actually only contain one shrimp instead two.Too many good Thai places in San Clemente to ever return. Hope this helps others.
I called and asked what they recommended I order. They said the pad Thai and asked for the shrimp. Took it to work and was very disappointed to find the shrimp over cooked to the point that it was inedible. Spit it out and ate the noodles which were dry. Another disappointment. I fly out after work and wish I could get my money back. What a waste of my dinner. The service was friendly but the food needs improvement.

This a great little Thai spot. The decorations are very traditional and make it feel very cozy. The food is really good and the service is always very friendly. The prices are comparable to other Thai places.

I stopped by Thai Dara 2 yesterday shortly after they opened. After browsing the menu, I ordered the spicy fried rice. My food was ready in five minutes. It was delicious, and they got all of the modifications I asked for correct. The customer service was warm and welcoming. I wish I'd had time for a sit-down meal.
