Hi! I would like to leave this message for the ownerI came in today with my family of 6 ready to buy a dozen bagels. When I got to the counter I gave the lady a 100 dollar bill.. she then took it to the managerThe manager brings the bill over and says hey I think this is fake. I said okay, where’s your pen let’s just mark it and see if it actually is or notHis marker ends up not marking the bill at allI know my bill wasn’t fake because I used to manage restaurants and knew how to tell if it was fake and that’s what’s alarming is that your employee is turning down business he isn’t 100% the bill is fake. Your entire crew needs to be trained again on thisAl, a regular customer of yours, stopped us on the way out and paid for our food and we really appreciate him. And honestly the bagels ended up being great, I just thought as the owner of the business you should know about the manager not knowing how to tell if a bill is real or fake

I’ve had a lot of bagels in my life and these are probably some of the best. French toast bagel with cream cheese and bacon egg and cheese on an everything. So perfect. Didn’t expect anything special for an iced coffee but it was simply amazing. Employees are so nice, service so quick. Not too pricey either. Came twice in our 4 day stay.

My recent experience at Bagel Shack in San Clemente left much to be desired, especially considering the consistently positive encounters I've had at their other location (Mission Viejo). Unfortunately, my visit for a special occasion turned into a series of disappointments.First and foremost, our large order, intended for the bridal party on our wedding morning, was far from satisfactory. We ordered bagel sandwiches, complete with eggs and meat, but upon opening the bags, we found only plain bagels with cream cheese. This oversight was frustrating as we wanted everyone in our bridal party to have a hearty breakfast.To compound the issue, all of the large chai drinks were visibly HALF empty. (see picture)Considering the hefty price tag of $90 for the entire order, the incomplete bagel selections and inadequately filled chai cups were frustrating.We will likely not return to this location. We are still shocked by this considering how exceptional the MV location is.

Cool little spot, I ordered an egg sandwich on an egg bagel. I’m from New York, so we don’t scramble our eggs before you put them on a sandwich, I mean, I guess you could but why?Super nice staff, bagel was pretty good. I’d probably go there again.

they were so sweet! I got one of their bagel sandwiches and asked for no meat, they asked if I was vegetarian and then loaded me up with extra avocado for free :) sandwiches were delicious! and they even threw in some extra bagels, we loved this
First time here and ordered a few things. All where what seems to be wrong. Like a "blueberry" bagel with literally zero blueberries. A cinnamon bagel with zero cinnamon. What a joke.

This place is a staple and the kind of place where the core staff remembers you’re name pretty quickly. Best everything bagel around. Can’t go wrong with any order but the lowers is a fav of ours. It’s one of the few places whose quality hasn’t dipped with skyrocketing price and usually pretty consistently great.
