Came on the reccomendation of my sister. Appears it is changing hands and will no longer be a taco shop. It was barely operational and looked like they were dismantling the kitchen. Tacos were acceptable.

Sadly, our 1st time here and won't go back. Got a carne asada burrito and my wife got an enchilada and we got 2 breakfast burritos for our next day breakfast. The burrito was ok. The enchilada was so over salty to my wife and I took a bite and it was loaded with salt. The b-fast burritos were not good - so full of fries, there was no flavor to it.

stopped in on a whim and got the pollo asado burrito and I'm going to be dreaming about it for the rest of my life. So good and amazing prices as well.

Shrimp taco in a bowl with a Coke zero hot sauce, one chicken quesadilla and one cheese quesadilla. Great for a low-carb lunch. Food was good. Service was fast. If you're ever down here to the beach, try it out and get some of the red sauce. It's nice and spicy not too hot.

DO NOT EAT AT ANY VALERIES TACOS LOCATIONS. THE BUSINESS OWNERS ARE IRRISPONSIBLE UNSCRUPULOUS LIERS. The owner called me in a panic because the City was going to shut off the water due to lack of equipment maintenance. I stopped what I was doing and responded with in 1-hour. I assessed the needs and I purchased the needed equipment and performed the work the next day so the water would stay on. I filed the required forms to the City and O.C. Health Department so the business could stay open. I completed the work on October 4, 2023 and the owner refuses to pay me, for no reason other than being a irresponsible lying jerk. *** Primo foods in San Clemente at 2801 S El Camino Real, 1/2 mile North has awesome food, better prices, super clean, with amazing full service market. Check out their .69 cent taco Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Very satisfied with the size and price of the tacos. If I had my way, I'd be back everyday.

Worst service and dishonest workers. Never will go here again. There are plenty of other Mexican food restaurants in San Clemente.

Solid spot for fast and good burritos/tacos. Drive through adds a ton of convenience.

After an early morning golf lesson and some practice at the SC Muni, I was hungry for some breakfast. I was going to stop at Primo, my newest top rated breakfast burrito spot but accidentally drove past it (can you say distracted driving?). At that point I remembered that Cafe Del Sol had changed ownership so I decided to try a new place in my never ending search to find the best breakfast burrito. When I arrived, I was not sure it was open even though the door was unlocked. There were no customers and no one in the exposed part of the kitchen. Not sure if the lights were on, but it seemed dark. When a gentleman came out from a side room, I asked if they were open but did not understand his reply so I asked again. He said yes and shook his head. He seemed like he may have been sleeping and his shirt was messed up maybe from cooking. Anyway, I reviewed the menu and went with the pretty standard sausage breakfast burrito. At $8.83 (huh??) each it seemed like it was a pretty good deal. As I sat down to wait for my burrito, another customer walked in and ordered 4 breakfast burritos and then another customer came in and ordered French fries (the breakfast of champions?). I sensed that this rush of orders threw the cook (actually the only employee there) for a loop. I was wrong, as I was soon called up to get my burrito and as I was grabbing the salsas I wanted, he finished the other burritos and dumped the large order of fries into a to-go box. As I walked over to the register to pay, the guy met me there and after swiping my card I was off to home to try out the burrito. As soon as I picked the bag containing the burrito up I was surprised by the heft of it. That was a good sign! Even though the burrito was poking out the top of the bag, I did not realize how massive the breakfast burrito was until I took it out of the bag and unwrapped it. I don't think the pics do it justice. In the future I should put a ruler down with the burritos to track the sizes. Ha! I was a bit disappointed of the looks of the burrito as the tortilla was very dry and flaking pieces off as I moved it from the wrapper to a plate to cut it in half. When I did cut it even more of the tortilla flaked off, but it was the just the places where the burrito was browned and had bubbled. The inside looked great and was packed with eggs, potatoes, sausage and cheese. It was a monster size. I tasted each of the salsas: Green - very tasty and a slight kick Red - tasty and much more kick Third one looked almost like the color of the mustard you get at a Chinese restaurant. I am a bit color blind, so that may be part of it. This was an avocado salsa which was delicious and my favorite of the three. Wish I had grabbed another little container of it. Beyond the flaking tortilla, the burrito was very good. Along with the three salsas, I quickly devoured the first half of the burrito and that filled me up. I wrapped up the second half to enjoy the following day. The three stars is based on the cleanliness of the place. It seemed dirty and the tables and chairs were in disarray. The cook's shirt was a mess. Considering the guy was there alone, the service was good. The breakfast burrito was good, a solid 3.5 stars. Not as good as Primo though. Go. Use The Drive Through So You Don't See The Mess. Eat Pretty Good . HAVE FUN!

My boyfriend took me here and I got the rice, beans, with carne asada. It was so good and the best Mexican food I've ever had along with El Molino. Will definitely be coming back!
