Good and authentic food. Some of the best mediterranean food I have had in a while. I recommend the kabob plates.

Incredible service, staff is always friendly and very respectful of the timing in which they bring out the food as well as the bill. Food is always fresh and healthy every time we come, my favorites have been either the kebabs or the lamb shank. Such a peaceful place to dine and have fresh quality food.

The best Persian food in SD. Quality food and great service. The owner was a gem and the waiter was super friendly. We ordered Soltani, kashle bademjun, tah dog and yummy mast moosir. Try this place and you are not going to regret it!

I got Dizi from this place and had very little expectation (because I haven't found too many exceptionally well done Persian food restaurants.) However, I REALLY liked the dizi from this place. The koubideh was also great. The salad and the torshi (pickles) were amazing too. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered beyond kabob and the texture of the kabob is so soft and mushy and doesn't taste good at all... don't get it!!! They didn't charge us for it though so that was nice. The service was good.

Food was average and kind of pricey compared to other Mediterranean restaurants in San Diego that I've been to. The portions were small for the price. Service was okay. Ambience was quiet but that's because we were the only customers for dinner.

I was recommended this place because I heard it great things. I got the combination plate which contained chicken and beef kabob with rice. Food tasted great but not how everyone made it seem. Would I come back here? Yes I would. Price was not bad and service was great. Restaurant was clean and not dirty. Only thing was there was only 1 waiter working the whole restaurant so If we needed something it took a little longer than usual. Other than that great overall experience

I have been here thrice and each time found my dining experience enjoyable. Really love the rice too. Very clean and the staff is friendly and always helpful.

Would have never found this if it wasn't for Google but glad I did. The food was great and service was good for our large group!

Ordered zereshk polo ba morgh and ghormeh sabzi and neither was what it should be. Zereshk polo was chicken kabob with added zereshk, and ghormeh sabzi had too much spinach (tasted like aloo spinach stew), too little meat and the meat it had was cut too small, and it was salty. Positive point was that neither the stew nor the rice weren't oily at all. I didn't want jooje kabob, but the jooje was good tasting and juicy.I mentioned the positives for being fait, but overall I will not get food from this place again.

I have been eating Persian food my entire life, and after reading some of the reviews I thought I would give this restaurant a try, despite its lackluster name. I was not impressed... The chicken was burned, the grilled tomato was completely black, and the tatziki had virtually no flavor.I think what disappointed me the most was the fact that there was an upcharge for practically everything, however they did not deliver on the additional ingredients. For example, the Zereshk Polo was not truly rice mixed with barberries. Instead, for $4 extra they put a spoon of barberries in the corner of the dish. Also, they charged an extra $4 for a Greek side salad, instead of the garden side salad that comes with the dish. However, the upcharged Greek salad was IDENTICAL to the garden salad that I ordered with the other dish. Essentially, they took an extra $4 from a customer during a time when people are looking for value...The baklava was the coup de gras for me, because it was the size of a 50 cent piece, yet was six times the price. The bottom line is that we all understand the increased operating costs for restaurants right now, but to overcharge customers and not deliver on the portions nor ingredients is simply bad business... Khoda-hafez Grill House, because we will NOT be coming back!

My sister and I were craving some Mediterranean food and we decided to pick some up from here, and we were not disappointed! We did not expect these big portion sizes - we got way more rice and meats than we thought we would for the price. Most importantly, the food was delicious! We'll definitely be back again when that craving hits.
