Spontaneously did the Sat morning coffee roasting ceremony & it was SUCH a lovely experience! An intimate group of strangers chatting over freshly roasted coffee. 10/10 would recommend this experience & I’ll definitely be back.

My wife and I went to the coffee ceremony on Saturday morning-it was absolutely wonderful. Perfect mix of learning the Ethiopian coffee culture, meeting new friends and delicious java. In addition to 3 rounds of super smooth coffee from freshly roasted beans (like roasted right in front of you fresh!) they provide homemade bread and popcorn. Our hosts were so engaging and friendly that the 90 or so minutes we were there flew by. They’ve created a wonderfully inviting space for the weekly event. On-line sign-up was a breeze. Can’t wait to take a group of friends there for lunch soon.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps at front back doors. Tables are well spaced.

Very friendly and warm service that are enthusiastic about their food and open to explaining if your curious how it is made. The food is amazing and fresh and definely enjoyed the smell of the kitchen as the food cook and the presentation of the food at the table. Loved the food, the atmosphere and the service, definely worth a check out.Vegetarian options: the menu has a section that has vegetable plates.

Second time at Addis. Second time I leave ready to come back!Food is great, service is great, and we had a difficult table in a group of 8 demanding people.Visit this place, and if you are unsure, just ask them to help you choose. They love to share their culture and food, and you will not be disappointed!

My kids and I love Addis Restaurant! We always order the veggie plate and meat plate. They're both delicious. The service is always great. We love coming here!

The food is amazing, but they skimp on the portion sizes. Since all the white people found out about this place, they have started to offer the bare minimum they can. If you go to another Ethiopian spot, they feed you like a king. Also, I asked if they had the legit Teff injera, they gave me mixed with corn one.To summarize, the food is fantastic, but the portion sizes make you feel like robbery

I wanted to try Ethiopian cuisine in SD, and I was so lucky to have come across Addis Restaurant after Yelp searching! With beautiful traditional East African interior and fixtures, I was mesmerized as soon as I stepped in. The staff were all so kind to us, and the prices were super affordable too! Ended up ordering the Awaze Tibs; it was a colorful dish with injera (delicious Ethiopian spongy flatbread), juicy seasoned beef and various sides of veggies. The flavors were so rich, deep and meshed together perfectly. I cannot WAIT to come back and try other dishes, I highly recommend it to all locals and tourists alike!
