We had a great dinner. We got the bruschetta with honey and bacon and it was to die for. The garlic bread is sooooo good. My boyfriend got the lobster ravioli which was amazing. I got the special which was a shrimp pasta which I really enjoyed. We will be coming back.

Literally such a vibe ! The food is absolutely delicious, great portions, we had basically everything. The server had her recommendations on pizza so we did 1/2 cheese and 1/2 of what she said I honestly can't remember for the life of me what it was but it was spicy and just yum in every bite. If you were thinking about going here, stop thinking and just go! It's so worth it! I also made my reservation on OpenTable which was easy! Looking forward to coming again! Did I mention they have movie nights? I'd call prior to confirm if they're showing anything on the patio but since summer is around the corner, catch me being here all the time!

Excellent experience! I hosted a work dinner with five people and had the space and noise level to have a conversation and enjoy an incredible meal. I will be back for date night with the wife. Thank you!

I relocated to North Park from Mission Bay and was very excited to try Alexander's; as I, visiting friends and family have consistently enjoyed a delectable and amazing dinner experience at Old Venice in Point Loma. Sadly, the same was not had at Alexander's. The service was not attentive, sporadic. The appetizers took forever and were tepid, and yet the entree took even longer. Our reservation was early on a weekday evening, so timing couldn't be attributed to it being busy. The food was not nearly as tasty as Old Venice, which in over a decade of going there, is always delicious. I'll have to try Alexander's on a weekend; however, on my own, as the first time may have been a fluke, although a four course fluke.

The rastaurant is beautiful and good taste, service is super welcoming and great, food was excelent and tasty, great ingredients, menu has enough selection. Love this place. I recommend it! I plan in going back soon. Just a little problem with fnding parking.

The food was incredible, from the appetizer of feta with sundried tomatoes and pesto served on fantastic bread to lemon pasta with shrimp, and the pink pasta. Tyler was our server, he was so attentive and personable, it made the entire dining experience fantastic. Would definitely go back when in San Diego again.

Decent but not remarkable starchy traditional Italian fare on the pricy side ($25 for spaghetti & meatballs, $28 for lasagna). Table service is decent but kitchen somewhat slow (45 min wait for entrees after salad service). I'm not eager about returning.Parking: Residential area with a smattering of available parking spaces. Only around 6 spaces in the restaurant parking lot.

Been several times and always a wonderful dining experience. Perfect for date night. Katherine at the front went above and beyond to make it a special night. Tyler behind the bar was great. Love Alexander’s!!

Let’s be honest. There’s a LOT of places in San Diego to get Italian food. But Alexander’s is the best.I don’t make the rules. But I’ll explain why.Alexander’s consistently has very tasty dishes (and, admittedly, we’ve eaten here way too many times and have tried a lot of them). The service is always great. Whoever is the hiring manager here, clearly has a magic touch. Every member of staff here is personable, approachable, efficient, and great at what they do.And the vibe here, is really just perfect. We enjoy the back patio most. It’s elegant but not so over the top—and honestly, in a city where every place is trying to be a flashy, in your face “aesthetic,” Alexanders just delivers a beautiful tasteful atmosphere that can honestly handle anything.Need a place to take a date? It’s a great spot for that. Taking a client to dinner? Also great for that. Maybe you’re just wanting to enjoy a nice meal with friends and you want to eat someplace nice but not feel obligated to bust out the formal shoes. Alexanders. Perfect. We’ve been here so many times, the food and service is always consistently great. The selection of movies they have playing in black and white is also a favorite added touch. We absolutely adore this place. And everyone we’ve ever brought here has too.

We sat outdoors on their covered patio. We were a party of 4 - double date. Great romantic ambiance. Upscale vibe, even on the patio. Movie (Titanic) playing on the building's wall next to us. It was not distracting. We ordered the Vodka bolognese, Spaghetti & Meatballs, and the house made Spinach Lasagna. Every single dish was EXCELLENT. Dishes were large - you could get 2 meals out of these dishes. Dessert was tiramisu & creme brûlée. Both delicious, but I suspected the “lady fingers” in the tiramisu were not soaked in rum, or not soaked long enough...something was mildly missing. It was still delicious & we were already very full anyway. It did start to rain while we dined on the patio. We got a little sprinkled on at first because of the wind, but for the most part the heaters kept the dining area warm and we were able to scoot over enough at our table to get out of the sprinkle zone. It did not affect our dining experience. Overall, it was a lovely & delicious evening. Recommended!

It wasn't our first time there. As always customer service was amazing same as food. But i would like to suggest to lover down music a bit, as we had to raise our voices to hear each other.

I simply love the food at Alexander's. It is consistently delicious, fresh and plentiful. We took friends out for the evening and each of us was able to take home a sizeable portion as well as enjoy a good meal in the restaurant. Great place for a special evening out.

Girlfriends getting together to catch up - one friend moved into the neighborhood and wanted to try Alexander's. Everything was very good. We were seated promptly on the heated patio. It was a lovely night. The bruschetta was nice and perfect portions. Brad was also excellent. But the chicken piccata was the very best. Can't wait to go back to have this again!
