Our server Rebecca was attentive, helpful when we needed to order, she was also fun and friendly. The food portions were extremely generous and delicious. Anything you order from starters to main entrees can be shared. I had a watermelon margarita and it was so good. I usually stay away from them because they can be to sweet, but this was refreshing.

Alex (Alessandro) our server was amazing and so was the food. The bolognese was the best I ever had! The ambience, the wine selection and the Limoncello cake was wonderful. I'm looking forward to going back and indulging in more fantastic food and asking for Alex's table :)

Honestly everything we had was just so so. The service was a bit off especially for a not busy tuesday night. When the calamari came out it was not very crunchy and honestly had one of the most fishy flavors i've had before. The sauces were interesting as well. Then our pastas came out and the carbonara was really good but nothing special. It was a bit salty. I got the linguine and clams and nothing special as well. Would not come back here as there are so many other options in the neighborhood.

Overpriced, slow service , but nice ambience. I had the Cesar, cheese wheel pasta(mushroom truffle ), and a side of chicken and asparagus. The Cesar was average nothing special but good. The pasta was flavorful but not a fresh truffle taste more artificial, the asparagus had no seasoning - begging for salt, and the chicken... horrible. That was definitely frozen strips heated in the same bowl it was served as all the juices from microwaving were in the bowl

I've eaten here twice and both times it was a disappointment. None of the dishes are particularly imaginative. My latest, and last, foray resulted in a greasy, tasteless linguini with pesto that I paired with a Sauvignon Blanc that would have struggled to stand out on a supermarket shelf. Nothing to see here; move along.

The dining experience at Allegro was fantastic! Diego, our server, was so on top of things and made some great recommendations. Not to mention the positive vibes and humor he brought to the experience. The cocktails, prosciutto e burrata, and the Parmesan wheel all made for a unique (and delicious!) meal.My one recommendation is to space the heat lamps out a little bit more as we were sitting between two of them and it got a little too hot. Other than that, everything was very much to our liking. Can’t wait to go back soon!

I loved the food, the aesthetic, the service and mostly how no one rushed unlike other restaurants that every 5 minutes they keep asking how are we doing and we feel rushed to just eat and leave. Also the price was very fair for all that we got! Definitely coming back!

Forgot to leave a review but I came here for the first time on Valentine's Day. Me and my girlfriend were excited to try a few of their pastas but upon arrival we found that the only thing they would allow you to buy on that day specifically was a choice between 2 limited 3 course meal deals that didn't even seem to have some of their more popular items. This definitely was done to bait people into paying an insane amount for 2, 3 course meals instead of the entrees people and their significant others would've hoped for. Many people in the restaurant were visibly frustrated when they sat down just to see you had only these few options and a few people even left in hopes of salvaging their valentines dinner someplace else. A very unfortunate bait that they hopefully do not reattempt next year.

First time to Dine on this place, we booked at 6:15 for Couple's Dinner. which includes appetizer, main course, dessert and a bottle of wine. the lady who assisted us was very accommodating. apologize as I didn't ask for her name. love the meatballs. we also experienced their cheese wheel pasta, and we had taken home some of it because they have a generous amount of pasta per person.

We went for a dinner Sunday night and were amazed how good the food was. Every meal was phenomenal! Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal and the service made it even better! My salmon meal melted in my mouth, the atmosphere was fun and setting very cozy! I am I'll definitely come back when in San Diego!

This place is very captivating. Started with cocktails and we were off to a great start. Made a reservation of course. I was really thrilled that they are dog friendly. The calamari lacked a little crispy texture to it. Ordered the famous cheese wheel pasta. It was a little cold but what can you do. The bread that they have however 10/10.

The ambiance is what you go for here! We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. It's super cute inside too. But, we didn't get seated until about 30 mins after our reservation. We sat at the bar to wait and the bartenders were great but my water had something black floating in it. For our meal, we had the clam pasta and the short rib pasta. The clams were gritty and sandy so we barely ate it. The short rib pasta was great though. Not sure I'll go back here but cool to check out once.
