Our office had a luncheon today. I had a lunchbox with chicken cashew. Box was super cute and cute bag for the pickle. I tried the side pasta salad. The pasta was warm and over cooked, tasted bland. I moved onto the sandwich. Huge DISAPPOINTMENT

Apple spice Junction is the food and catering portion of Intermezzo Expresso. Got a variety of breakfast burritos catered to us at work, bacon, sausage, ham and no meat. They were all pretty unremarkable. I think anyone could make these at home, the ingredients are definitely things that you could find yourself at the grocery store. Mission flour tortillas, pace picante sauce (salsa). I tried both the sausage and the ham. they are mostly potato which was kinda mushy, the tortilla is not even grilled to give it any kind of texture or depth, and almost 100% sure the salsa is pace picante sauce. Taste like something that comes out of a cafeteria. They are pretty cheap at $5 each but they are small and bland. For just a little more i think you're better off getting breakfast burritos at a taco shop, or for the same price and size, half a breakfast burrito (if you know where they make big burritos) Maybe they do a better job with their lunch sandwiches and salads, but I'd avoid the breakfast burritos here.

I visited today for the first time. This place always seems somwhat busy, I wanted a change from my typical Starbucks sandwich, and the prices weren't bad. The quiche LOOKED nice. Unfortunately there was no crust, and it was a microwaved blob of doughy scrambled eggs. I asked for the breakfast burrito instead. It's a hard, microwaved small flour tortilla filled with a over microwaved blob of day old , bland house potatoes, bland scrambled eggs, and a chopped up sausage patty . Oh, with a side of pace picante sauce. Oh joy . I think the only reason this place gets business is that people like m wander in. I can't imagine they will be in business long.

Apple Spice catered my work meeting today. They delivered about 30 boxed lunches that were amazing sandwiches! I had the cashew chicken sandwich myself, and inside my box came chips, a cookie, a cute little pickle bag, and some utensils with condiments. The bread was fresh and the cashews were an awesome touch to the sandwich! The sandwich was full of chicken salad and other ingredients, they definitely don't jip you on portions here! The only thing that wasn't so great was the cookie. It was fairly dry and crumbled everywhere. Everyone else at the meeting thought the box was great and cute. I work in the area and will be coming here again on my own!

I stopped in with coworkers for a quick lunch. It is a quaint little lunch joint. We each got something different (panini, egg salad and green salad). Everything was delicious and great portions. There are tables outside for seating and the bathroom is shared with other businesses.

I had salads from Apple Spice Junction twice for an orientation that used them as caterers and I have to say that I was very impressed! I really liked the variety of salads and sandwiches that they offered and the portions were quite ample. I also really enjoyed their bread and chocolate chip cookie! The bread was by far the most delicious bread I have tasted in a while and the chocolate chip cookie was homemade and super yummy! I'm not sure about their service because I did not personally order from them but I can say that the food is very high quality!

Recently my supervisor was nice enough to buy lunch for everyone and we all decided on this place. I called that morning and spoke to Ken who was very helpful from beginning to end. Our order was for almost 30 lunch boxes. Not only were the sandwiches fresh and delicious but it arrived on time and the order was 100% correct. Ken was very nice and patient taking my order and making sure everyone got what they wanted. I would definitely order from here agin and suggest it to everyone! $8 is not bad for what you get!

I'm downgrading this business to 2* This business can't even man up to their blunder, and has lost a good customer forever. I will never step foot in here again because of how rudely I was treated by 3 employees. It's just not good business practice -in any world- :/ They offer a free food/coffee (don't really know tbh) on your birthday, but they refused to honor it when I came in on my birthday and showed them my drivers license. Hum. By the way, this store goes by 2 different names: "Intermezzo Espresso" is one and the same. The first time here, I ordered a chai tea latte, and it was one of the most bitter lattes I've had. It was watered down, had minimal foam, and I attempted to fix it by adding cream and sugar, when I normally would have sent it back. My altering it didn't even help one bit. The 'small' was miniature! The gross bitter taste made me glad it was so small. How sad is that? Yuck. It's really too bad, as I know how small businesses really depend on a loyal customer base. Depend on them. Ken needs to clean house, and I mean with his employees. They're ruining a good thing for him. There are plenty of people without jobs who would be anxious to take their places. Won't be returning.

I called Apple Spice Junction on a referral from a colleague. I was so impressed. I ordered 200 boxed lunches with only one day notice, to be delivered. Ken and his staff showed up on time and with the most beautiful boxed lunches I have ever seen. The bread is freshly made in house every day, and the sandwich was accompanied with a bag of chips, a pickle, a home made chocolate chip cookie, and a butter mint. What a pleasant surprise. I will be ordering from them again, and will recommend them to everyone I can! WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

My company orders from Apple Spice Junction a lot for our business meeting lunches. We absolutely LOVE them. Their chicken curry sandwich is sooo delicious. (And I am not the biggest fan of sandwiches... but that sandwich is just good!) They also throw in a pickle, chips or potato or pasta salad, a cookie, and a mint. Its a perfect size lunch and I'm always excited when we get to order from them! :)

Apple Spice Junction catered an all day continuing education seminar I had in Vista and the food was absolutely delicious. My sandwich came in a cute little box complete with a pasta salad, cookie, and mint. Highly recommended!
