For a $90 per person Easter brunch, I was expecting a better quality of food. The aguachile’s cracker was stale, the desserts were dry or stale, and the eggs were powdered eggs ?. The saving grace was the seafood and the meat station. The ribs were great, and the strip sirloin was super tender. Service was also excellent; servers were attentive, and all buffet stations were filled fast, but I wish the food were better. There are better restaurants in San Diego. I only wish to book another restaurant earlier, but I booked a week before Easter (my fault). It's not worth the trip.

Such a gorgeous restaurant. The food was amazing. Had the scallops and oysters as starters. The oysters were pretty small but they were the freshest I've ever had so they are definitely worth it! For my meal I had the spot prawns and pasta. Biggest noodles I've ever eaten, it was delicious and the portions were perfect if you are looking to leave with a full stomach. I tried the truffle fries as well. I am not a huge fan of truffle but Arlo does it perfectly - the truffle isn't overpowering and the salt also balances it as well IMO. For desert I recommend the creme brulee cheesecake :)In terms of service, we had the best waitress Rebecca. She was so sweet and accommodating to us. She checked in on us often to make sure we were enjoying our meal and she was personable too. The manager checked up on us as well which is a plus. We love to see a restaurant manager in action! You can tell he really cares not only about the restaurant, but his employees as well.I recommend dining here.

Just had brunch here on Sunday. The food was amazing. I had the Biscuits and gravey with a side of candy bacon. My wife got the fried pork tacino. It was so delicious. The vibe is really cool, and they have a DJ. Will definitely check this place out again when back in town.

I went here for my birthday meal last night. It was awful. The Mac n Cheese was raw and undercooked, the broccolini was burnt and the sauce was horrid. The mashed potatoes were bland and tasted like nothing. The shrimp pasta was ok as well as the service being mediocre as well. Nothing special. Don't waste your S$ here, much better to go somewhere else. I'm an employee at a sister property and came for my birthday and was staying in the resort, everyone was overall very upset. 0/10

Food was good. I had the salmon with asparagus and lentils. Service at Arlo is poor. Waited forever for someone to take our order and, at the end, to bring the check. Repeat experience at breakfast the next day. Left without ordering because no one came to our table.

Nice place, food was mediocre. Waitress was very rude, when the food finally arrived we were forgotten about. Pretty disappointing being there was only 2 other parties in the whole place.

The food was good. Our waiter Patrick had a lot to be desired. He was slow, inattentive and overall lacking. While the food was good it took a long time to get through dinner. I realize some dinner service should be long. For what this restaurant is it should not have taken 2 hours 15 min for a simple meal. At the end of the meal it took getting his attention to get the bill. After the meal was served he disappeared. Go for the food go for cool vibe and hopefully you don't get Patrick.

This place was a pleasant surprise! Got the funghi pizza, arugula salad, sourdough bread, calamari and the prawns pasta! Really enjoyed all of them except for the arugula salad. It was too boring and tasteless. The spicy margarita was really delicious too. Also, both desserts were delicious! Parking is easy if you park in the hotels parking structure and then get your ticket validated! Free parking is always nice!

I ordered the Spot Prawns. The prawns were very overcooked and tough. I sent my dinner back and ordered the Hamachi. The flavor was decent, however the portion size was ridiculously small. I have worked in the hospitality industry before and am familiar with portion size. I doubt the amount of hamachi would fill 1/8th of a cup. Given the disappointing prawns and delay getting my the hamachi, I would have expected that our server would have offered me a complimentary glass of wine or dessert. I love the setting but could not and would not recommend ARLO to anyone for a meal.

My husband and I came here for his birthday on Valentine's day. I knew they had a pre-selected 4 course menu that was $75 per person when I made the reservation, however, the food and service were extremely disappointing. The 1st course of our four course meal was a single carrot the size of your little finger (I wish I had taken a photo to show that isn't an exaggeration). The 2nd course was a piece of toast with some cheese and a few bites of melon. For the 3rd course, I ordered the fish and my husband ordered that lamb. We were told the lamb would be cooked medium but when it came out, it was still very raw. Even the waiter expressed concern and offered to take it back to the kitchen. As for my salmon, it was soggy and bland. The best part of the meal was the final course (dessert) which was at least a decent sized piece of chocolate cake. Before we left, the staff must have remembered that we were celebrating a birthday because they brought out smaller piece of cake with a candle, which felt odd since we had just finished our dessert but we still thanked our server. Overall, I wish we had spent our money somewhere else.

Excellent food and service. I had the jidori chicken, my girlfriend the salmon. We also ordered the sourdough bread and oysters. Our server Patrick was charming. We liked the decor and atmosphere. It's not a suit-and-tie place, but I'd recommend dressing nicely.

I love Arlo. John is so kind and accommodating. Patrick went above and beyond to keep us safer. Drinks were sooo good as was the jydori chicken and the sea bass with muscles. A flavorful banana cake pop and baked Alaska with blackberry ice cream. This is one if my favorite places in San Diego.

ARLO is not your typical restaurant in a hotel. The food served here could have come from any 5 star trendy restaurant. Service is amazing. We checked in the hotel late and just wanted to get something to eat on the hotel property. We were blown away by the quality of this place. I would put this place against any restaurant in the area. 5/5

Well it seemed very promising but ended up really bad. We had a group of Nine. This was a team dinner after first day of a conference that was on the T&C Properties. We arrived a few minutes early for our 6:15pm reservation. we had all arrived by about 6:25pm or so, with some conversation and drinks we then put in our appetizer order by 6:48pm. We put in our dinner order not too long after that; 3 eggplants, Bolognese, filet, and 4 Sea Bass and a handful of sides if I remember correctly. after bringing another bottle of wine our waitress disappeared. our appetizer plates were eventually cleared here and there and we sat and sat and sat without any touch base or update as to what was happening with our order. Around 8:45pm i would estimate a couple of the Eggplants arrived and some of the sides (asparagus plates, carrots, and mushroom plates). another 5-8 minutes and the seabass entrees arrived, another 5+ minutes and the Bolognese arrived and about another 10 the filet arrived. My friend straight asked for the Bolognese to be boxed as he had to go. We asked to speak to the manager and when he arrived his statement with a puffed up muscle bound attitude was, "So someone wanted to speak to me?!" Seems like the wrong approach. no apologies never showed up during the long long wait. The bill was around $730.00 and without coming back to the table the manager sent the waitress with a $171 discount on the bill... We all ate our food in about 10 minutes upon receiving. I ate my side before my entrée arrived. The experience was the worst delay I have ever experience with Zero remorse or attention to service by the staff especially the manager. I would highly recommend avoiding this place due to management and kitchen inability to send out and order in proper timing. Completely ridiculous and a terrible experience. on top of the fact all the money the conference was spending this was a world class blow it. Arlo - No Go! as a side note there was talk there was a large party for the owner or the owners son?? but if you (management and kitchen) cannot handle large groups, then close part of the restaurant and manage that. If it was a owner party plan with more staff in the kitchen. again poor management. and if the owners think they are more important than the customers, that's another red flag. If you need all your staff's attention close the entire place and throw your party, don't take peoples money and ruin their night without a care.
