Great service. Good food and good wine! This lovely little place was like being in Italy. Food was spectacular and the service was also great. I had a chicken salad, colleagues had lobster Ravioli. Good reviews around the table. Feels a little like being at a friends place! Not too formal, casual and comfortable! Parking is convenient and reasonable.

Such nice and friendly servers/staff. Great food! Had 15 people celebrating a graduation so took a bit to get our food, understandable. Would definitely go again to try other entrees.

My husband and I started the first leg of our honeymoon in the Hillcrest area and walked here for dinner. The staff was inviting the food and wine was amazing. My dinner choice was out of my normal comfort zone for food -black linguini with muscles Alaskan salmon and asparagus in a cream sauce. It did not disappoint. It was amazing food. I felt bad that I couldn’t eat a lot of it (I’m a bariatric patient and have a small stomach) and couldn’t take it with me since we are traveling. The staff looked so worried I didn’t like it. But I really did love it and can’t express it enough!! My husband had the rigatoni bolognese and it was fantastic! We took a dessert back to the B&B with us to share. (Breakfast). I highly recommend this restaurant!!

This is, by far, my favorite Italian style restaurant. It is truly authentic. I had linguine and meatballs. The sauce was out of this world. I knew I was going to like it when I smelled it. The service was amazing and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic cuisine and friendly prompt service! We ordered the artichokes, burrata, linguine with meatballs, and brussel sprouts, everything was so flavorful and delicious! Absolutely loved it, we will be back for sure!!

Amazing!!!! My Paul and I had diner there this evening and all we can say is WOW! Great local neighborhood Italian restaurant with amazing and friendly staff, the food was delicious and place is super cozy. Our server recommended the artichoke hearts as the appetizer, we highly recommend them too :) we then each had a pasta plate and forgive me if I'm not saying this correctly but I will post pictures so you can play the guessing game lol..... anyway, we had a pesto, chicken fusilli pasta and a tortellini pasta!!!!

Updating my review (Adding a Star)! Great food and fantastic service! Tried the Penne Chicken Arrabbiata (substituted with Angel hair pasta). The chicken breast pieces were very juicy and the sauce was perfectly balanced (between spicy, but not too spicy). The pasta tasted fresh; very large portion. Really enjoyed the fresh bread too, nice crunchy outside and sense but moist inside. Can't speak well enough of the great service; very authentic "family feel". Looking forward to coming back to try something new!

Went to this restaurant for the first time 17 years ago and it has never disappointed. My favorite place to take people for a delicious Italian meal. We've have many of the dishes and go wrong here.

Everything was great from the phone call to see to ask if we can come 30 mins before closing time to the end of my glass of Porto. People, service, food, wine, desserts. Going to make a point of coming here from La Mesa once a month.
