Don't order the shrimp meatballs, because they are actually rice meatballs. I felt cheated by paying $20 for this, apart from the fact that the menu said it was $16. What a disappointment.DO NOT order the shrimp meatballs soup, because they are actually just rice balls. I felt cheated by paying $20 for this, besides the menu said it was $16. I work very closely to this restaurant. I agree with some customers that they act strange with people who only speak English which shouldn’t be. Both my adult children are bilingual and when they come with me it’s all good or when I’m with coworkers it’s all good. The shrimp tacos are wonderful and I’ve tried many other items on the menu. The customer service is very lacking. The waitresss can be very condescending and from the comments many others feel the same. Of course food critiques are going to be given the best service and their meals paid for by their establishment. My money is green just like everyone else’s. I refuse to patronize restaurants who discriminate again people who speak another language or are not the same color as the establishment. Baja Fish Market, you really need to STOP doing this! I think your number one concern should be make sure your food is michelin, and next, make sure your customer service is superior. When one of these is lacking, it’s only a matter is time before you fall!

Y la muchacha que atendio era amable y hizo bien el trabajo en las ordenes y me dio el cambio correcto porque cambie mi orden. Got a california burrito and theirs had shrimp. Don't like shrimp. This was more of a surf & turf than a california burrito so i was disappointed. online also their prices says $17.99 for the burrito but i got charged $22... Disappointed at this over priced burrito i would never pay $22 for a damn burrito when their prices online say all the food is cheaper.
Amazing Baja experience on this side of the border I come in for the fried fish and it's never been a miss. Fresh fried fish in San Diego is hard ti find a good place. We ran into this place on the way to Mexico to get some fried fish and cocktails and decided to try it if it wasn't good we would keep rolling but they saved us lots of time and traffic. We needed up loving this place and now I come here all the time. The lady's always give us great customer service the shrimp cocktails are fire and fried fish to die for. Enjoy
