My girlfriends & I ate here for our belated Galentine's after seeing numerous IG stories of people posing with their giant bears. They have dining inside & outside (where the giant bears are), & there are heating lamps to keep you warm. We had made a resy & it was pretty empty when we came in but they sat us directly behind the only other diners so it was a bit awkward. I would have definitely asked to move in hindsight. Customer service was nice & attentive. They had Valentine special cocktails which were yum. We shared a pizza & a few pastas. Hearty portions & good. I do wish their sauce was more flavorful. This is definitely a great spot for a date night because the ambiance is romantic & you can take a stroll along the beach which is just down the street.

I had the pleasure of being served by Tiffany at Barbarella restaurant in La Jolla, and I must say, she is truly exceptional. Tiffany's customer service skills are outstanding, as she pays meticulous attention to every detail. Her service is top-notch, and her advice on what to order and what to avoid was spot-on. Tiffany's professional yet laid-back demeanor made me feel right at home in italy my home town. . She is the one who truly makes this restaurant amazing. In her presence, you feel like you're with family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is truly memorable. I am from Italy and I have had gnocchi from Italy. She told me that the gnocchi was just as good as it was in Italy, and I have to tell you it definitely was to my surprise. Thank you, Tiffany, for making my visit to Barbarella restaurant a truly delightful one.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We got seated with menus next to open windows with rain pouring in and had to ask to be moved. We had a reservation and the server was socializing with the people behind us for at least 5 minutes. 4.3 stars? Definitely has be for the food, because the service is non-existent. We asked to have the windows closed, and the solution was to move us to another table where we continued to wait without being acknowledged. Drove all the way up from downtown with friends from Vegas. Thank Piatti for amazing 5 star service without a reservation.

This restaurant is the cutest place for brunch or a girls day! We went during the spring theme and the restaurant was decorated full out for spring! The food was great! We got the lemon ricotta pancakes, French toast, smoked eggs benedict, and the pizza max! My favorite were the lemon ricotta pancakes and the French toast! Their drinks are definitely very unique! We got a variety of drinks that were in unique glasses. The service was good, our server was very helpful with food and drinks recommendations. Can't wait to come back again!

Popped in here for a post dinner drink and OMG this place is the cutest. The drinks are so fabulous and original and the menu made me with I had come for dinner. The service was exquisite and the servers were all so gorgeous it had my husband and I wonder if they only hired models. This place is everything and I'll for sure be back!!!!

Barbella is awesome. My wife and I are huge fans of cocktail bars and the cocktail program here did not disappoint. Also they have exciting glassware. The waitstaff were super attentive and paid attention to my wife's allergies, even in context to what I was ordering and confirming if it was okay or not. The pizza was great, and chicken parm was incredible. For date night in La Jolla this is where we will always go! PS the olives are delicious but enough for an army!

I enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant. I went during brunch and loved how fully decorated the restaurant was with flowers, it was definitely a spring vibe. This is perfect place to have girls brunch and an Ig worthy place to take photos!

Went here for a belated Galentine's with my gals. They thankfully had the Valentine's decor still up! The place was thoughtfully decorated with giant red Teddy's, lights, and signage. So cute!Our server was attentive, kind and sweet. She even went outside to take pictures for us!Food was great. I had the chicken Parmesan, would recommend if you're a fan of red sauce. The chicken was crisp considering there was cheese on top and pretty tender. It came with a bed of arugula dressed lightly with balsamic and all balanced on top of spaghetti. Also like what my friend ordered, the pasta al forno. Cream sauce was delicious.All in all, a delightful experience - good place for date night!
