The food quality and taste was below average. The meat was overcooked, crispy potato was over fried also. The service extremely bad, especially the waitress whose name Cristal. She ignore Asian customers very obviously, even you politely call her or kindly wave in front of her, she just walk away.

My party and I went to Barra Barra Saloon on a Saturday evening and we didn't have to wait and we were seated outside. They had heaters for outdoor sitting which was nice. I ordered the Barra Barra Pork Carnitas Platter and it was pretty good. I wish the meat throughout was evenly fatty and delicious since some pieces were drier than others. I also wish that there was more guacamole, pico de gallo, and rice. Both the guacamole and the pico de gallo were very good. Overall just wish that the portions were more even since the whole plate of food is a lot.

The food has gone downhill. About 2 years ago it was better. The portion sizes now on some of the items like the fajitas, Carne Asada Steak Plate, and the flan are some of the smallest I've seen in a Mexican restaurant.A friend and I ordered the 2 items with beans and rice. We both wanted our money back. We chose tamales and enchiladas. The tamales were dry and tasteless. The chicken suiza enchilada was dry and not flavorful. The chicken enchilada in red sauce was bad too and it arrived cold. The beans and rice were also tasteless and dry.4 of us agreed the beans and rice were not good. When we complained about the tamales and enchiladas, the waiter would not give us our money back, not even half!He said we ate too much of it. I admit I ate most of my enchilada, hoping it would get better. But, I only had 2 bites of that awful tamale. The waiter offered a replacement abut when I asked to replace it with a Chile Reno he said I had to pay extra! He allowed me to replace it with a soup!! The soup was supposed to have chicken in it but it only had a creamy sauce with corn!!!We had 6 in our party so they charged us a 4% extra surcharge for the rising cost of food, plus a non-negotiable 20% tip!!When we were first seated, we were there for about a half hour without being offered a glass of water or anything! They totally ignored us!!After we finally got service, the waiter did not check in with us often, and when he did, he forgot what we asked for repeatedly and did not come back for quite a while! He gave us a pitcher of water. We drank it all and it remained empty for 2 hours until the time we left. He never offered to refill it.There was a cigarette bud that had was next to our table when we arrived. The staff did not bother to sweep it up.The chairs in the lobby are peeling badly.I guess the owner does not keep the place up.Avoid this place. I paid $26 including tax and tip for bad service and bad food I couldn't finish.Just awful!!!!

Super slow service overshadowed the food. Luckily it was a really nice spot to sit and wait. Love the free kids menu!

Solid Mexican spot. Service staff was moderately warm, they allow dogs which was amazing but they also put all the dogs right in the same corner which made things interesting when other tables sat down. Sizzling fajitas were good and so were the margaritas. Nothing extraordinary but also nothing to complain about food wise! Felt close to Mexican cuisine but menu is very American so I think you’ll be able to find your favorites easily, very tourist friendly and a great option especially if casa de Reyes has a long wait!

Service is very slow. Had 5 different servers in an hour span. I normally don't rate places but this one needs attention!

The food is usually pretty good but the service was not that good. I had to look for a server for 5 mins and was leaving when someone showed up. The food was good and didn't take to long once we got to order. The only complaint is the tortillas were stale and we didn't eat them.

I never leave reviews, but this was such a good experience for me and my family. There are so many places to eat in this tourist trap area but this place was really great. I had the puerco Verde plate and it was so good. My kids had a great time. Service was great.

Bus was late, so stopped at Old Town for lunch. Chips, salsa and bean dip were great. Potato Flautas were delicious!

The food & service (our food arrived in 12 minutes) was pretty good. The music was on the loud side, the strawberry margarita tasted like a smoothie (weak), small and overpriced. We ordered the carnitas plate, carne asada burrito, and the crispy potato flautas.
