10/10 Phenomenal. One bit of advice- my girlfriend and I typically will get a bunch of little things- to sample as much as the menu as possible and only get one meal to also share. The portions here are "single serving" aka. Pretty small and seems silly to share. With that said, you can easily get an appetizer, a salad and a meal to yourself and not be STUFFED or wasteful. Everything we had was perfect. We started with the french fries and caviar, and the King Crab with truffle butter. I wish there was a bit more caviar with the fries but I feel like could probably easily said about caviar in general lol. We got the cucumber salad and liked it so much ordered another round. I will come back just for that. We shared the steak and wish we didn't share . Will definitely be back with bigger appetites!

We have become kinda of regulars here because of the outstanding and consistent delivery of a five star experience. The entire staff is amazing. Chef continues to push the culinary journey for our best experience in mind. Easily one of the best casual fine dining experiences in SD!

This is one of the coziest spots in SD. They even asked if they could put our jackets on the coat rack. It’s small and feels warm and friendly and inviting. Food was superb too and I highly recommend the wine pairing! Came here for an anniversary dinner and our favorite course was the salad and soup.

One of my favorites in San Diego. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who KNOW their menu and are able to improvise. Able to accommodate dairy free without compromise. Chef Behar keeps the menu so exciting the prix fixe is hard to decline.Love the French 75 (with congac ?)Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate a dairy free diet without compromising the experience

Sorry to say but this was a miss for me. Our server was nice and attentive so I added an extra star. We were seated at 6:40 and didn't finish our meal until 9:10. This was way too long for a meal that should not have taken that long. Food was just mediocre at best. I left pretty disappointed and wouldn't come back or recommend to others. The dishes I tried: Fries and caviar - this was good but such a tiny portion for the cost. Oysters - these were good. Again, for the cost I expected more. Kampachi - did not enjoy. The yellowtail was NOT fresh. Consomme - one word to describe it: BLAND. I was so disappointed. Wagyu skirt - was not cooked to my liking. I've never had steak where they don't ask how you would like it cooked. It came out rare. Not a fan. Drinks - we ordered a few and they all tasted decent but were weak. I did not taste any hint of alcohol in any drinks. It's extremely noisy in this place. I felt like I was competing with others in the restaurant to talk to the people sitting right next to me.

The food was amazing with well executed dishes, the service was fantastic all around, and our server, Elyse, was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It all made for one of our best dining experiences and date nights we've had recently.

what we ordered | 4 course pre fix menu ($89) | Pineaperol | Gnocchi | Consomme | Wagyu Bavette | Chocolate Bouchon | Madeline with chocolate orange Taste | Pineaperol | this drink was very fruity and sweet and strong. coudn't taste the alcohol Gnocchi | the gnocchi and sauce was delicious. lots of flavor. this came with rabbit which was also tender. Prawn | this was also very good. nice kick and smoky flavor. Consomme | this soup was light and simple. the dumplings were yummy and the filling was so good. came with some sour bread and butter with hawaiian salt. Wagyu Bavette | the wagyu was a bit tough to chew but good flavor and cooked to medium rare. good flavor and the feta was a nice touch. the yukon potatoes were in potato chip form so add that nice crisp texture and the flavor was strong. (this dish is +$9 on top of the prefixe) Chocolate Bouchon | this had a crispy outer layer with a soft gooey center. the chocolate flavor was delicious and the passionfruit added a good amount of tartness to the dessert Madeline with chocolate orange | these were moist and light and the hint of orange was perfect. (this was not part of the menu but they gave it to us at the end the meal! Service | our server Kelli and the bartender Alex were awesome. Kelli went through her recommended dishes and as dishes came out they explained the dishes. great experience. a few tables opened up so Kelli gave us the option on where we'd prefer to sit. we decided to sit by the window. Parking | street Notes | make a reservation for this spot. their menu rotates but they've kept dishes from their previous menus as well. really enjoyed my experience here!

Amazing all the way around. This little restaurant is truly a gem. The staff is friendly; wine pairing is on point with the menu and they look for smaller production; prices well.

Very beautiful hidden gem! The ambiance is superb and the drinks are fantastic. The food was amazing, but the portion sizes are laughably small for the price. Expect to arrive hungry and leave just a little bit less hungry unless you’re willing to spend upward of $100 per person. My absolute favorite thing to do is sit at the bar and for a drink or two and enjoy the ambiance :) The servers are always super attentive and kind.

The atmosphere was inviting and intimate, the service was outstanding in pretty much every way, and the attention to detail on the food and the drinks was impressive and delicious. Not a sip or bite left of anything we had. Our group of 4 had the tasting menu which I recommend. It’s smaller plates which I appreciate so I can taste more dishes. As an addition, pairs with a wine flight that was worth it. I can’t wait for my next experience here, which will be sooner rather than later. The menu changes often and is very fresh. Kudos to the team here for their commitment to excellence and a worthy experience.

An elevated dining experience in an intimate bistro that strives for excellence in all aspects. The staff, service, presentation and taste were all 5 stars. I will be coming back as the menu changes and I am curious for more!

Waaaaay too long for dinner. An hour and a half and we didn't get to the fourth course. It just took forever. The meat was gristly, everything seemed overdone, there was sand in the greens. As far as ambience, the place is too loud, they need some sound baffling or something. Cute to try but definitely overrated and we will not be coming back.

I really enjoyed my experience at black radish. It’s an quaint intimate space that doesn’t have the stuffiness of fine dining. The prix frixe is definitely worth the price point and the dishes are creative, tasty, and plated beautifully. Cocktails are wonderful as well. Service was great and was probably one of my best dining experiences in San Diego. Bonus points for the cleanliness and decor of their bathroom as well.

Went to BR with my girlfriend last night. The level of sound was awful, we could hardly hear each other. We only had appetizers as we could not stand this loud noise. The food is good but the portions tiny. Not worth the $100 bill for 2 appetizers and 2 glasses of wine. Did not enjoy ourselves.
