Stopped by Bottle Rocket after reading all the excellent reviews. It was a Wednesday night which is Wings night (6 wings for $6) so decided to give those a shot. We were welcomed immediately upon entering by the staff and found the service throughout the visit to be prompt and friendly. You have to go to the bar to place your food orders and are given a number to place on your table for delivery. We ordered two of the 6 piece wings as well as a cheeseburger and an order of fries. The wings came out piping hot but a little bit overcooked. The bbq sauce was really good but the mango habanero was more on the sweet side than spicy which was disappointing. The burger looked really appetizing but was a bit average in comparison to similar places we frequent. Fries were crispy and tasty. Bottle Rocket also has an excellent selection of beers available. I would be more apt to visit them in the future for drinks than for their food because the service was super friendly and the vibe of the place was laid back and fun in general.

Chill local spot for Padres and Niner fans. It’s like an intimate cheers. Worth going out of your way from Gaslamp if you’re visiting! The edge of east village is growing and there have always been a ton of gems.

We had a cheesesteak here, we are from Philly. They were better than gagliones and the other "title claiming cheesesteak" winners. They needed the amoroso rolls and they would have been solid! However, it is our go-to cheesesteak place. I will say, a bit overpriced. So wasn't a fan of that.

Fantastic place. Been there 2 times so far, but will absolutely be there again. All the staff are fabulous and friendly. Geat food, and drinks, plus a very friendly laid back vibe. Plus reasonably price. Definitely a go to hangout spot ?Parking: Metered parking, but free after 6pm
Got a takeout order around 9:30pm, staff were very friendly, highly recommend the cheesesteak!

Surprising Great place. Cute little dive bar. The food was amazing. We got the cheeseburger and the crispy chicken sandwich. Both amazing. The onion rings are so of the best if ever tasted. Super crispy, and I would 10/10 recommend. Good variety of beers on tap. We haven't tried the cocktail yet but we will come back for that and the wings. Happy hour and day of the week specials available. The food came out fast, and the bartender was super chill and nice. The potato buns on both sandwiches were really good. I loved that the grilled cheese spillover on the cheeseburger was kept on. The cheeseburger was simple but great. The spicy chicken sandwich was super crispy and I loved the spicy sauce so much I asked for more on the side. If anything, come for the onion rings and beer, and to watch a game, as there were tons of tvs everywhere!

The food was great. The burger, perfect. The onion rings, crisp and perfect. Over all, just a perfect meal. There wasn't a lot of people when I went in, so I can't comment to how the atmosphere was. But it was still great. The service was perfect as well. They were very polite and did not rushed me.
Cute local neighborhood bar with good bar food that's made with thought. Drinks that don't disappoint. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the barstools even have a place to rest your feet. I had a seasonal frozen boozy PSL, a great cheeseburger with perfect fries. Don't let the whipped cream fool you. This drink had me feeling good! I'll be back.
