Went there yesterday with my elderly parents when we attend ASA's Autism Acceptance night with The Padres. I had forgotten to bring my ID . my mom had to explain to the guy that I am a person with autism - he questioned if I was over 021 ( I am -obivously because I am 039 almost 040 -duh ) Then he asked if I would be drinking ( Yeah -but only diet coke - which I had with No ice ) Luckily he let us all in. saw the Women's college Basketball game on the television sets ( LSU Vs. IOWA ) "Go Iowa - had a woody Burger with French Fries - very yummy - kind of loud - lucky I had earplugs ( Which I also brought to the game -even though we didn't stay every long ) - anyways Now we know where good eating is for Padres Baseball.Parking: Get it early

Sports bar vibe with great food! Portions are large, and the food is delicious. It's located near Petco Park, so expect a crowd on game days. Indoor and outdoor seating.

The WORST bar I’ve ever been to. Rude service. Rude workers. Overall go to ANY other bar in the area. 0/10. would give 0 stars if possible.Kid-friendliness: There were literal children in the bar next to me. Not like college or even high school, literal children.Wheelchair accessibility: No ramp. Only stairs. Yelled at me for trying to enter.

Stopped by Bubs on a weeknight for some dinner and was pleasantly surprised with how large it was inside. We were sat at a booth and immediately approached by our waitress. We decided to split the Ballpark Nachos and some Buffalo Tots. While both dishes were attractively presented we found the taste to be pretty average bar fare. Neither were anything we would make a special trip here for. They have a ton of tvs with sports on so it’s a great place to watch your favorite game and have a few drinks with friends. Given its location downtown there is no parking lot so you either have to try to find meter street parking or find a paid parking lot somewhere.

The food and service was amazing. Can't wait to return during baseball season.
Visited over the weekend to catch UFC 298 and the place was packed. We arrived a bit early at 7 PM and was able to snag tables with a good view of the PPV event. The food was a typical of bar food and was enjoyable. The nachos were our top pick and then fish tacos and onion rings. Even tho the place was packed our server was attentive and frequently checked on our drinks. I highly recommend trying the Moscow Mule and the Shark Bite for the drinks. Definitely a spot to revisit.

I've been coming to Bubs for over a decade. They have the best wings in the United States. Hands down. Haters gonna say it's fake!

Place is pretty fun and lively. The food is good but the star are the wings. Very good! The service is good but last time our waitress literally said please don't to make me get another round of drinks. There was seven of us celebrating a birthday and it was our third round. So that helped us choose the move along.

I am originally from this area. Now I live up north. Everytime I travel down I bring my guest here with me. We came most recently to watch the KC football game. There was an event going on at Petco and with the amount of people they were serving they did an amazing job. I will continue going here.

Went here with a couple friends after a Padres game. They got drinks, but I don’t drink because of my medical condition. The waitress came to take our drink order, and when I told her I did not want anything to drink, she said, “It’s messed up of you to be in here and not drink when there’s a whole line of people waiting to get in here and drink. That’s not cool.” There were 2 people in line. I get that it was crowded and she wanted tips, but wow. I was so uncomfortable after her remark and did not want to explain to her that I can’t drink alcohol because of a medical condition. Such an awful experience.
Great bar!
