I was really surprised by this place because it's been there for years and I didn't know about it despite working in the area for years. The menu here is amazing. I'd never really eaten or considered Burmese food before but it's like a mix between Indian and Asian food that was great for my tastes. This place is great for vegetarians, pescatarians and vegans with lots of options. I came here for a work event and every dish was beautifully plated and everyone really enjoyed their food.I had the fiery vegetables. It has a nice blend of spices, broccoli and peppers with a bunch of well prepared tofu in a pleasing sauce. I wouldn't call them fiery, but they were spicy enough to be flavorful. I also tried a veggie samosa. It was light and crunchy and the dipping sauce was nice. It could have had a bit more filling but was enjoyable as an appetizer. The big downer about this place is that at lunch the service was extremely slow. The staff was very friendly and was happy to help us choose excellent food options but the kitchen seemed to be a large bottleneck. They brought dishes out one at a time which led some to have their meals in 15-20 minutes but others waited nearly an hour. We had to get back to work so it was sad as some of the desserts looked very interesting.I want to come back here to try many other items on their huge and varied menu but will have to do it for dinner when there is less time pressure.Vegetarian options: There is a dedicated vegetarian part of the menu and they can all be made vegan by request.

Never tried Burmese food? Don't be shy, this place has amazing food!If you're a vegan/vegetarian going out to eat with meat eaters, this is a fine option. The food is much better fresh rather than to go. We've found the service to be quick. We also found most of the staff to be polite and friendly.

To go orders are much smaller portions than dining in. Food good but will not order to go again.

Stopped in as a last minute idea for lunch. This was our first time having Burmese food and would not have been happier. We had the crispy calamari, the sesame beef, and the fish stew and each one tasted great. This will become one of our regular go to restaurants in the area. Cannot wait to try other dishes.

I have not had Burmese food like this since the 80's.Every taste was spot on.From the coconut chicken noodle soup with hard boiled egg, cilantro, red pepper which was my favorite and is pictured in the empty bowl (sorry). The basil chicken and the black pepper beef tasted so fresh. The meat, the veggies were crisp and the sauce wasn't overpowering. The chicken lettuce wraps with sweet chili sauce was a great starter along with the crispy egg rolls.I am thankful that this restaurant is 20 minutes away or I would be broke, fat, and sassy. It's that good.Shout out to Micheal, who made the entire experience one the best in a long time.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the parking lot

The only Burmese restaurant in SD. I highly recommend the tea leaf salad - it's so refreshing and flavorful. Also recommend the coconut noodles soup. Everything I've tried so far is delicious but these are my favorites. Portions are pretty generous, plenty of parking, friendly staff.

We were very excited to try Burmese food for the first time as my daughter had eaten it in San Fran and raved about it. This style of food in my opinion is a mix of Thai and Indian so it should be amazing but unfortunately it was very average and it tasted like a weak version of both cusines. We ordered the Samosas which were fine and the fried calamari that was so oily you had to remove the batter. I ordered the Burmese shrimp curry which was terrible but the house special noodle dish was fine. The spicy lamb was tender but had a really nasty spice in it. To make things worse we all had upset stomachs that night so we won't be going back.

My gf is a vegetarian with a soy allergy. They were extremely accommodating and cook everything to-order so they made everything without soy sauce and oils!10/10, a great place for South-East Asian food, even if you have dietary restrictions!(They have vegan options as well!)Vegetarian options: A whole section for vegetarians, with many of them having vegan options. Even the stuff not in this menu area will say what is vegetarian/veganDietary restrictions: Just mention your restrictions and they'll do whatever they can to accomodate!
