The service was kind and thoughtful. The cafe was an absolute delight. It made me feel like I was back at a local cafe in Europe. Lattes were delicious. My husbands chocolate croissant looked amazing but it was unfortunately hard as a rock. ? one woman was making all lattes and orders so it took some time to receive the craft items. Worth the wait on the beverages!Would go again but maybe skip the croissant ??

Very cute little cafe close to the Gaslamp Quarter, right behind Petco Park in SD. The croissants and lemon cheesecake were absolutely delicious! The latte coffees were also very good, and they are served in a real cup. The service was friendly. However, the street is very noisy, and there were homeless people camping in front of the store on the road. It is what it is, just saying. I feel sorry for these homeless people, but the smell was horrible in front of the cafe. Decoration of the cafe was very mixed up, music Ambiente a rave form Berlin Kreuzberg. Could be better. All in all I would definitely get some more croissants next time.

This place is such a fantastic neighborhood coffee shop! Both the food and coffee is top notch. My boyfriend got the bacon egg and cheese croissant, and I got the Quiche Lorraine. It was a small mini quiche and was potentially the fluffiest quiche I have ever had!! I love the cappuccino as well.

My favorite coffee shop in San Diego. It really feels like locals come here and the prices are so reasonable and the quality is still strong. I usually get the matcha smoothie or PB&J smoothie. The pastries are hard to resist and I usually cave and order something sweet here.

I became a new customer and absolutely loved going here but then one day, I was standing in line and waiting to order and when I approached the counter, the already short young lady just looked and stared at me, didn't speak nor acknowledge but rather just stared. I purposely stood and waited for her to say something just too see if she would acknowledge me but to my surprise. Nothing! Previously White customers she spoke too and asked how they were doing but nothing to me.I would never tell people to refrain from going to a business but in this case, I believe this is in response to me being Black. It really hurt my feelings because the young ladies, didn't realize that I really loved going here but I didn't know that my skin color wasn't accepted at this restaurant so I would caution anyone who is African American, or dark skinned to bypass going here because you won't be acknowledged or spoken too by the girls, who are working there.
Best croissants in San Diego fresh just baked…highly

Ok this little French bakery and coffee shop is one of my favorite coffee spots in East Village! I am amazed to have found it open since it's been maybe 7-10 years since I had visited last. I used to go here to study during law school and going now as an attorney was very nostalgic -- nothing has changed, still cozy, still inviting, still serving delicious drinks and small baked goods. I've always found a place to sit even on days where it appears busier than others. It feels like a little bit of France is in San Diego! Check them out!

Friendly staff, cute and varied pastries, and the hot food (crepes, paninis, etc. ) is all high quality. Sometimes there's a short wait for the hot food, but not so much that you can't get your food on an hour lunch break and take it back with you. They also have smoothies and coffee.

Small little bakery with a nice selection of pastries; guava/cheese turnover was especially delicious. Nice little on-the-go spot.
Wonderful pastries. Mediocre hot chocolate.
