We decided last minute to do a New Year's Eve party. I reached out to California's Best Catering and within the day we had agreed on a menu (because they had outstanding choices). Their staff was very friendly and attentive to all details. The food presentation was outstanding and all my guests raved about how delicious it was. We will definitely use California's Best Catering again!

Jason Shephard from Cosentino gave me your information after my daughter and I attended a design event last week at Cosentino. I am so picky but everything was amazing! And I had to ask Jason, who the miracle workers were that catered the event. At the end of the evening, I had a dessert bar almond and white chocolate,? I believe and I ended up getting one of each of these heavenly, delicious treats. I swear I am not a 'sweet' lover but these converted me! Loved the food and how it was displayed! I go to a lot of events but this is one of the very few I've left a review for.

We've used them twice in the last two months already, once for brunch and the second time for a Christmas in August dinner party. The brunch set up was elegantly set up. We did breakfast burritos that were HUGE! Thank goodness I asked them to halve them and individually wrap them. People could barely finish half. But the star of the show was the homemade waffle bar. HOLY COW!! They were made fresh on site and the set up included two massive tubs of whipped butter and fresh whipped cream; they also included fresh berries, maple syrup and powdered sugar. Our guests were so happy and needless to say chose the waffles over the burritos. I wish I took photos of the beautiful table setup.Then a month later we hosted a Christmas in August dinner. I asked Jan to put together a menu for me and she delivered a fabulous menu: fruity nutty salad, creamy Tuscan salmon salmon, herb crusted steak with a red wine Demi-glacé, green beans with cranberries, red onions and almonds, wild rice pilaf (the best) and dessert including sugar cookies decorated for Christmas. As expected the food was FABULOUS! What i didn't expect was the Christmas decor. Jan's staff surprised me and arrived 2 hours. They said it would take a while for set up. I was confused because how long does it take to put up chafing dishes and food. What I didn't realize was they came with TONS of Christmas decor. They turned my room into a Christmas wonderland. Jan and her staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to provide a true Christmas Experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

I recently hired California's Best Catering & Events for a corporate event held on a boat, and they were fantastic. They arrived on time, set up beautifully, and Jan was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the process. The braised short ribs over sweet potato mash were a hit with everyone! I found California's Best Catering by accident - but I'm so glad I did! Charlete helped me plan a wedding rehearsal dinner for my son while I lived 1500 miles away from the location. They delivered to our remote vacation rental location and even provided a fresh flower bouquet for an added extra touch. The food was amazing (recommend the tacos and sides) and made the evening completely memorable. Thank you for all of your help and a great event. Highly recommend them.

If you Are looking for a caterer, you have found the right one, look no further. We had a last minute celebration come up and I was scrambling to find a Caterer who could deliver to a unique location, on a busy holiday weekend and it was three days before the event. I contacted California's Best Catering & Events through Yelp and Charlete responded right away. By 9pm that evening, details were finalized and contract was signed. Charlotte went above and beyond to accommodate my last minute request, I am sure this is not their preferred way to work, and I appreciate that they did not make my "last minute Lucy" moment an issue. Everyone at the party was less happy with the food and there was plenty of it. The delivery was on time and was everything we had ordered. Thank you California's Best Catering & Events for helping me out, the celebration was fantastic!

Charlete and CBC provided a dinner and following breakfast for our business group at our beach house in Oceanside. It isn't an understatement to say it was amazing. The food was excellent and the setup was beautiful. Our guests were super impressed which completely made the evening. We were in Oceanside, which is pretty far north of San Diego, but CBC still made the trip on time and the service and quality was on point. We will be using CBC for our next event for sure. I worked with Renee to cater my husband's 40th, a party of about 25. She was easy to work with, very friendly, helpful and open to working within my ideas and budget, and ultimately provided delicious food. She was so responsive to all of the specific challenges with my event. I loved the menu - almost everything was completely gone by the end! The stuffed mushrooms and bacon wrapped dates were a particular hit. An exceptionally positive experience over all.
We recently had California's best cater brunch and dinner for a private retreat in Oceanside CA. Charlete worked very closely with me on planning and was able to accommodate all of our needs. The on site staff we're great to work with as well, very professional and friendly. All of our guests loved the food and we would absolutely recommend them for any catering needs!
